You've yet to answer my question: why is it okay for heteros to "shove their lifestyle in people's faces", but the same isn't true for gays?

You need to have some kind of lower limit, in Sweden we have 4% off the population. And we have 8 different parties. Off course sometimes it is hard to get a majority that works well together and the parties has to compromise within coalitions, but that is done in the open and if their voters doesn’t like the compromises they make, it will show in next election. The compromises is happening within your politics as well, they are just made within the republican and the democrat parties and behind closed doors, not to be communicated.

Simple answer because heterosexual relations do not pervert God's purposes for sex. Anything outside of His design is sin, be it fornication, bestiality, homosexuality, etc.

“100% local control“ proved mutually exclusive with the Constitutional rights of Americans. You can blame your fellow conservatives and Jim Crow for that.

That is not possible. Whoever attacks the church can't be liberal since the ideology of liberals gives religious freedom. If it does not, it is not liberalism by definition.

Lesbians have the lowest rates of STD's on the planet. So by your logic, we should be encouraging women to be lesbians, yes?

You can support gay marriage and still be a conservative in every other way. But yes, America would benefit from 100% support for same-sex marriage.
