Raises the Question why there was no tear gas at the U.S. Capital on 1/6/21. Didn't Capital Police have "Go Easy" order, from the top?
Ummm...

Yes, but those are not the only issues. Inflation, high energy prices, product shortages, etc... are also contributing. I think there is plenty of blame on both sides to go around.
I disagree with the attempt to equate the two sides. One side attacked the Government, to snatch it away, had their minion Justice overturn a long held right & threaten others. While their former leader misrepresented the Threat of COVID-19, which in large part is behind rampant inflation, energy prices & shortages.
Not making the left out to be sainted, but to make the case that they're equally to blame for the unrest in the country is too easy & not well thought out.

Okay, I forgot...
On the other hand, there were many cases of the Capitol Police not just letting people into the Capitol, but inviting them into the Capitol.

It makes you wonder who the hell was in charge of the Capitol Police that day.

I should have written that white conservative males need not respond... this is undoubtedly their Heaven.

Maybe we should judge how ugly foreign nationals consider the USA to be based on how many are immigrating into it.

You can bet your ass the left is about to go batshit crazy like we've never seen before and start peacefully protesting with a vengeance by burning down their cities, killing the conservative supreme court judges and all others who stand in their way, and I'm confident they will eventually use the full power of the US military and drop nuclear bombs on all red states in the name of defeating domestic terrorism. That's just how they are. Petulant little babies who throw horrible temper tantrums if they don't get their way. Well, they might as well get used to it, and the rest of the country better prepare for their nastiness.

By the top, you mean the mayors office?

Against the militarized police?
As long as the demonstrations are kept peaceful, any violent interferance by Police will cost them in support but will also make indifferent people take side.

That's not how the US works.

Are you saying slaves should have used abortion more often?
Arbeit macht frei?

Oh! Quite the contrary.

"..Breeding in response to end of slave imports

...The demand for labor in the area increased sharply and led to an expansion of the internal slave market. At the same time, the Upper South had an excess number of slaves because of a shift to mixed-crops agriculture, which was less labor-intensive than tobacco. To add to the supply of slaves, slaveholders looked at the fertility of slave women as part of their productivity, and intermittently forced the women to have large numbers of children.
..
Slave owners often bred their slaves to produce more workers. The function of such breeding farms was to produce as many slaves as possible for the sale and distribution throughout the South, in order to meet its needs. Two of the largest breeding farms were located in Richmond, VA, and the Maryland Eastern-Shore.

Planters in the Upper South states started selling slaves to the Deep South, generally through slave traders such as Franklin and Armfield. .. New Orleans had the largest slave market in the country and became the fourth largest city in the US by 1840 and the wealthiest, mostly because of its slave trade and associated businesses..."

"Franklin and Armfield sold more enslaved people, separated more families, and made more money from the trade than almost anyone else in America. They amassed a fortune equalling billions in today's dollars (2021) and were two of the nation's richest men. ...His uncle Armfield handled the supply, sending agents door-to-door in Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware looking for enslaved people ..
...
..a vast, internal forced migration of enslaved people from the Upper South to the Lower South, and Franklin and Armfield were central to that business. "In surviving correspondence, they actually brag about raping enslaved people who they’ve been processing through the firm."

"By August, Armfield had more than 300 ready for the march. Around the 20th of that month the caravan began to assemble in front of the company’s offices in Alexandria, at 1315 Duke Street.

In the library at Yale I did a bit more unearthing and found a travelogue by a man named Ethan Andrews, who happened to pass through Alexandria a year later and witness the organizing of an Armfield coffle. His book was not much read—it had a due-date notice from 50 years ago—but in it Andrews described the scene as Armfield directed the loading for an enormous journey.

“Four or five tents were spread, and the large wagons, which were to accompany the expedition, were stationed” where they could be piled high with “provisions and other necessaries.” New clothes were loaded in bundles. “Each negro is furnished with two entire suits from the shop,” Andrews noted, “which he does not wear upon the road.” Instead, these clothes were saved for the end of the trip so each slave could dress well for sale. There was a pair of carriages for the whites.

In 1834, Armfield sat on his horse in front of the procession, armed with a gun and a whip. Other white men, similarly armed, were arrayed behind him. They were guarding 200 men and boys lined up in twos, their wrists handcuffed together, a chain running the length of 100 pairs of hands. Behind the men were the women and girls, another hundred. They were not handcuffed, although they may have been tied with rope. Some carried small children. After the women came the big wagons—six or seven in all. These carried food, plus children too small to walk ten hours a day. Later the same wagons hauled those who had collapsed and could not be roused with a whip..."

Things HAVE been bad. A steady descent into partisan extremism, misinformation for profit, and a corporate controlled government hellbent on environmental and civil rights abuses.

Ohhhh! The (In)Humanity! ***king animals.... if they were predominantly black, they would have been strafed by helicopter.

"It’s worth noting that the Constitution of the United States, in addition to establishing the Electoral College to protect slave states, and valuing slaves at three-fifths of a person (while giving them no rights). Specifically, forbid banning the importation of slavery prior to 1808.

“ The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a Tax or duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person.”

Article 1: Section 9 Constitution of the United States

Americans did not take up breeding slaves in response to Congressional action, that action was taken at the behest of slave breeders as a protectionist means to keep the price of their product up. Jefferson’s home state Virginia was the leading producer of slaves. Slavery eventually exceeded tobacco as their leading export. Maryland was second in slave production, followed by several other states.

Economist Richard Sutch did a study which found that in 1860, on farms that had at least one female slave the ratio of women to men was 2:1. In Virginia, female slaves exceeded males by over 300,000. They were used to breed. Robert Lumpkin ran what is mostly referred to as a “slave jail” with little recognition that he ran the nations largest breeding farm. He personally had five children with a slave Mary who he ultimately remembered in his will. While owners of the breeding farms and plantations in general fornicated at will with their property, they also utilized selective breeding. Maintaining their own large “bucks” and importing large male slaves for the purpose of breeding good workers for the fields.

Black female slaves were some of the first people in the country to receive free health care. Breeders took a great interest in fertility and expected multiple births from the women or their value would be diminished. ’re generally aware of that situation which we’ve been led to believe was the worst case scenario. ....Nobody talks about the 13-year-old girl on a breeding farm, forced to bear as many children as possible, only to have them ripped away and send down South to endure a lifetime of hardship, without a mother. On one breeding farm, the mother would be freed after birthing fifteen children. What would she have to look forward to?.."

I said "Other." Things have been ugly my entire life, and I'm in my seventh decade. The Left is always stirring up shit about something.

LOL! ...and the right is always reacting violently, when their attention is called away from their obsession with serving the wealthiest donors
to their political "operations".

.... United States

First to be captured, you take no notice of how the "information stream," you've limited to narrowcast to you, shapes your opinions.

"Faux" "burps" its audience of your demographic and political "bent" by blaming the "activity" against abortion providers on...

ABC, of course!

ABC touts abortion group's report warning about rise in violence ...

"ABC News and Bloomberg promoted an abortion group's report warning about a rise in violence against abortion providers Friday, as the Supreme Court is poised to rule on a pivotal abortion case ..."

Well... Faux, should "an abortion group," just "take it," like your viewers do, in non-reaction to what you're doing to them?

Attacks On Abortion Providers Surged In 2021, Report Finds Ahead Of Roe V. Wade Ruling

Alison Durkee, Forbes Staff - Yesterday 10:03 AM

Key Facts

Most crimes against abortion providers increased in 2021, including stalking (increased by 600% over 2020), blockades barring access to clinics (450%), suspicious packages or hoax devices (163%), invasions of abortion facilities (129%) and assault and battery (128%).

The National Abortion Federation notes some criminal activities did go down—there were only two instances of arson in 2021, versus five in 2020—but harassment and violence against abortion providers have “steadily increased” on the whole.
The most common crimes against abortion providers are vandalism and assault and battery, with 123 incidents of each in 2021, followed by 71 incidences of hoax devices or suspicious packages being found at clinics.
The Covid-19 pandemic means incidents were likely underreported, the National Abortion Federation notes, explaining some clinics closed and so couldn’t report attacks that took place while they were still open, or had staff shortages that prevented them from tracking incidents.
The 11 blockades that took place in 2021 come despite such activities being banned under the FACE Act, a federal law that bans people from injuring, interfering with or intimidating anyone trying to access reproductive healthcare services through “force or threat of force or by physical obstruction.”

Surprising Fact

The report notes several participants in the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol building are known to be anti-abortion extremists, and abortion providers “recognized a number of the people at the Capitol as they are the same individuals who target abortion clinics and harass and terrorize clinic staff.”..."

Lmao, Andy Ngo works for white nationalist groups in a British accent.

Hilarious.

That is absolute nonsense.
Anti-woman decision.
Yes. Anti-woman. Knowing that there are states that will be discriminating against women it is Unconstitutional.
What hyperventilating blather.
Just calm yourself.

Abortions are still legal in MANY states.

The Constitution mentions NOTHING of 'abortion'.
It is NONE of the SCOTUS's business to rule on that subject.
They were 100% right - legally and otherwise - to hand it back to the states.

I am for abortions once the fetus is sentient.
And I am 100% for the SCOTUS ruling.

The only people who think this is a HUGE deal are the extremes of the left and the right.
Both are wrong.

LOL! ...and the right is always reacting violently, when their attention is called away from their obsession with serving the wealthiest donors
to their political "operations".

Who was doing billions of dollars worth of damage in BLM and Antifa-inspired riots back in 2020? Tearing down statues and monuments? And speaking of wealthy donors: George Soros is their god, and Barack, Hillary, Snoozer, and all the rest knew where their bread was buttered. Trump, on the other hand, got his campaign cash selling ballcaps to working stiffs.

They're not being oppressed. It is a fundamental truth, and the SCOTUS agrees, that killing an unborn child is not an inherent right.

Womp womp
SCOTUS denied Dred Scott and Plessy as well... ruining the lives of millions of people for close to 100 years... SCOTUS can kick rocks.

Besides all you did was an Appeal to Authority.
