are the rules of Leviticus relevant for Christians of today?

Did I say follow Leviticus? No...I said it is still of value today...many of my brothers and sisters in other countries, like Crimea, Russia, Eritrea, Singapore, South Korea, Ukraine, and other lands sure do know what it's like...

Moses is an interesting person. I suppose he holds the record for breaking the 10 Commandments which he broke all of at one time slamming them to the ground and totally breaking all of them. On the other hand his saving grace that he was declared to be the most humble man on earth…..and we are told “that God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble”……providing an example for all of us…..

Evangelicals typically fall back onto Paul to support their marginalization of gays (and women, really) while they munch their bacon-wrapped prawns wearing mixed fabric jumpsuits.

This is it in a nutshell.
Leviticus was very narrow by pertaining specifically to the Levites and like all OT laws was not universal to all people. There have been a few Christian’s churches that prefer to be known as NT churches….avoiding emphasis on the OT.

Thank you!
