I didn’t say confrontational; I said can liberals be competitive? We all know that competition in the market place is what fuels our economic engine, i.e. it lays the groundwork for capitalism. Liberalism has embedded itself with socialism by relying on big government and the unionization of the labor force to develop its non-competitive laissez-faire ideology.

In the same vein, can a liberal possibly enjoy watching or competing in sports competitions? Wouldn’t sports like boxing or football be too brutal for a liberal’s passive makeup? Doesn’t a liberal need to have an even and fair playing field before broaching a competitive activity? A liberal might be too concerned with an unbalanced racial makeup of the coaches or team players to even consider the competitive nature of the game. A liberal might call foul play, then call on the affirmative action boys to make sure each team has its proper quota of minorities before actually participating.

We’ve already seen how competitive a liberal is in fighting a war enemy, i.e. they forfeited their chance to be competitive by assuming their more comfortable role of dovish pacifists.

Liberals refuse to engage in competitive schooling options by refusing to accept a competitive voucher system. Liberals believe that our nationalized schools should favor an outcome based policy where the grading system is eliminated in lieu of one that gives out a passing grade to everyone regardless if they’re wearing a dunce cap. That way the competitive spirit and the chance for young junior to be intelligently challenged and possibly emotionally traumatized is eradicated. Can you see how socialization is working here? Unionized workers become robotized as they make the same money as their co-workers; there is no competitive incentive to be the best they can be. Likewise for these cloned school kids as the completive nature of working hard to obtain that A+ has been destroyed by a lack of competition and the knowledge that they will all get passing grades just by occupying a seat.

Just curious. Is this yet another inaccurate, ranting, anti-liberal op-ed piece or do you, actually, have any substantiation of which to base anything you said?
