Arab world fed up with Hizbullah [title changed] (1 Viewer)

Re: Arab nations fed up with Hizbolla!

Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia have no desire to officially piss off Israel and, more importantlt for the Saudis, the US. Hozbullah isn't worried, they'll find plenty of young men from all these nations rerady to join their cause.

That is interesting. Since public opinion seems to finally be turning against Hezbollah/Hamas and toward Israel, even in the Arab world, Israel should take this opportunity to wipe out both organizations and overthrow Bashar Assad in Syria.

If those numbers are accurate, it's excellent. It means that for the first time in recent history, less than half of Arabs are blaming Israel/America for their troubles and are instead looking inward. "All of the above" counts as looking inward IMO because it blames the people truly responsible.

For a region prone to blaming Israel and America for bad weather, those numbers are comforting.

Do you have a link to the poll? I'd be interested in knowing what countries were polled.

I completely agree with this article. Many thanks to Hezbollah movement, who suppported openly and in action Palestinians in their long lasting fight for freedom from occupational forces of Israel. Also, shame on those who are supporting Israelys in their attrocities. Only 3 soldiers against 9000 ordinary citizans. And they are calling to release these 3 soldiers and not mentioning 9000 Palestinians. HEZBOLLAH HAVE TO SERVE AS AN EXAMPLE TO OTHER MUSLIM STATES ON HOW TO SHOW THE SOLIDARITY.

The world should understand who the terrorists are really.Israel has clearly proved that it is a terrorist state and israelis have a terrorist mentality.Hamas or hezbollah are definitely more civilised. They attack or capture only soldiers while israelis cowardly and shamelessly target civilians without any sense of conscience whatsoever. No matter how u argue from the point of history israel is wrong. They are sitting over arab lands illegally, shooting down innocent civilians unleashing terror on the palestinian children and women. In spite of all this we have to but admire the remarkable bravery of these palestine young people. The cowardly israelis are no match for their honesty and courage.israelis are just bullies who use their american weapons to frighten and kill. The poor palestinians have nothing to fight with except their own courage and will power.might is not necesarily right as time will soon prove it.israel.U better understand this u arrogant murderering creatures.

hope syria and iran also join in the party. time all the jews of the world converge in the so called promised land. and then we promise to send the wily cruel cusred gews to face the almighty.

congratulations to hizbullah for standing up with the plight of our palestinian brothers.let us be focussed to who is the enemy of muslims and unite in actions against our common enemies.do not be distracted by the american/israeli effort to make world opinion aligned with their views and action.all muslim nations should take a unilateral action politically, ecomomically, diplomatically and at the same time military and covert action if all else failed against the zionist israeli state.hitting out at israel is equivalent to striking at usa!!!

Lets make this clear on the outset Israeli solidiers were captured not kid-napped. No soldier can ever be kid-napped . Thousands of civilians men women and children were kid napped by the Israelis.

I don't think Israel still has too much lee-way. If they attacked Syria, I bet the numbers would change dramatically.

It's like, if we had bombed Japan on December 6, the nation would have been divided. But after December 7, partisan loyalties were mostly forgotten

Syria has ordered attacks on Israel; this is Pearl Harbor. The declining support for these terrorist groups in the Arab world can be attributed to the fact that the Arab world is much more frightened of an Iranian hegemon than Israel.

Of course, Hezbollah still enjoys some support in the West, from people like you.

I am not sure that Joby actually supports Hizbollah.

It seems to me that what he surmises is very probably the truth.

Recruits to extremist groups seem to be from students from middle class parentage who see these groups not as terrorists but more as freedom fighters.

Other recruits are from the unemployed, unemployable, disaffected, marginalized and even educated youths with a strong religious upbringing in the (principally) Wahabi sect of Islam.

Surely the difference between a terrorist and a freedom fighter, is the opinion of the person themself, as well as those that deal with the actions of that person,
