no i got the point,i already know about that case, and the verified number of illegal voters, and the 4700 potential illegal voters,i just for the life of me cant remember which election it was or the names of the politicians involved.
Oh you have been doing so much "slapping" your carpal tunnel is flaring up alright, just not to anyone besides yourself. Thanks for stepping in. I'm already suffering from carpal tunnel from b-slapping Grim repeatedly, so the rest is appreciated.
Actually not only was that already posted in this thread, but a couple of other articles related to Doran and voter fraud were too. The assembled morons repeating the same thing over and over again paid all of it no mind at all, illustrating that you can lead a moron to water, but he'll just piss in it and say it taste sour. You are talking about CA-46 I believe. Without a doubt Bob Dornan's loss to Loretta Sanchez in 1996 was full of voter fraud by illegals.
Sound Politics: The Sour Lesson Of Bob Dornan's Defeat
There were clearly large numbers of illegal voters. But whether 400, or 4000, as Bob was falling out of favor with all, and got whupped more proper in '98, it never got high enough on the radar.

No problem, it's the SOS, just different players...LOL
It's telling when one party makes a concerted effort to suppress voting by passing laws to reduce poll hours, curtail early voting, having to present specified forms of identification in order to cast a ballot (rather than any ol' ID), restrictions on registering new voters, etc., for no justifiable reasons.
Lawmakers should be doing everything possible to encourage and make it easier for our citizens to participate in elections, not throwing up unnecessary hurdles.
One of the most obvious issues with some posters at DP is they are just here to masturbate. If you post contradictory evidence or data or in the case of this thread, repeated proof that there is an issue in the first place, the masturbaters just ignore it on go on slapping their ponies. Same thing with regard to claims that passing voter ID laws will create "voter suppression" and "disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of voters". Neither has occurred where these new laws have been passed. These nagging little realities are uncomfortable and unpleasant for zealots to confront much less acknowledge. To incorporate nagging realities that contradict the script you keep reading from means to have to admit you are reading from a script or just repeating a mantra. I can't really speak to BWG's case, but in the case of AdamT, you are presented with a poster that is incapable of being intellectually honest. Simply put each time he has had one of his obtuse *points* debunked, each time he has been shown that not only does voter fraud exist but that all of his claims have also long passed their shelf life? He just ignores it all and repeats all the same arguments that he knows have not panned out for him and that have been debunked, dismissed and disproved by dozens of posters citing twice as much data across several threads. pbrauer syndrome.Adam, this is addressed to you also...
What is the process that makes people like you buy into the partisan BS you're being fed, to the point where you support voter fraud and illegal immigration?
How can you in good conscience oppose efforts to prevent voter fraud and illegal immigration... I mean, how do you sleep at night publicly supporting lying and cheating in the name of politics?
When did you start aligning yourself with Communists and Marxists, and become active in trying to see America destroyed?
When did you start hating America?
I just want to understand how someone becomes like you all, so maybe we can prevent such hatred from infecting future generations of Americans.
Adam, this is addressed to you also...
...you support voter fraud and illegal immigration....
...you are a masochist who enjoys having these idiotic arguments over and over with posters you know are constitutionality incapable being honest.
I get the distinct impression that I could use a time machine and jump to a year from now in time, and you will be here at DP having this exact same argument down to whom you are having it with. Which kind of supports my theory about the masturbatory nature of some DP posters. Just sayin.
I've never said you are a fool. In fact I can tell by the names of posters that *like* anything that any opponent of yours in any thread says to you, a lie, a group of lies, hell they could just post mummer to you, and a certain group of names always pops up that "likes" the lie, the group of lies, the personal ad homs, the mummers. Names like AdamT, Catawba, PeteEU, Middleground, Hazelnut, ..... to keep the list short. I realize this is because you have presented arguments and information they could not rebut and which really pissed them off. However, I do think you are a masochist and I've said so to you before with regard to pbrauer. Unlike most everyone of the names I just listed that just loves and needs to "like" anything said to you by anyone else, no matter how mind numbingly idiotic it is, you have the capacity to admit from time to time where you were wrong or made a mistake. Probably another thing that drives them nuts about you.I look at posters like Pete and Adam as horribly misguided people that for what ever reason, are convinced that their political beliefs are valid. I have these same conversations over and over with them, because I refuse to believe that they are incapable of waking up and realizing how dangerous the policies they embrace really are. In other words, I don't want to give up on them and I'm trying my best not to do so.
You seem to agree with my view on this issue, but yet you look down your nose at me like I'm a fool. If that's the case, then why bother responding to my posts at all?

The problem with your problem with new laws is that you are repeating a thoroughly addressed and debunked argument about "may". As we have seen already in this thread and several others you have been lurking about, the promised disenfranchisement of hundreds of thousands of voters has not materialized where these new laws have been enacted. Seriously, someone needs to come in and update or rewrite a 2nd draft of the script, the one that keeps repeating that argument or "concern". Though, good for you pbrauer. You are concerned that something that was promised to happen, but has not, may still somehow someway happen. Because the script says so I suspect. REWRITE!Actually, I have no problem with a voter proving there are a citizen of the US and the State, I want only valid citizens voting. I believe this should be done when they register to vote.. To me, a signature is better than any picture. A signature must be produced in real time and cannot be phonied. Picture Id's can be fraudulent, and I seriously doubt the poll person looks at them all that close. And once the picture is shown and put away the evidence is gone. The signature on the roll is the real evidence. My problem with the new laws is that for some reason or other people who have voted for years may get disenfranchised.
Fine article. Bad partisan script read. You forgot the part where the GOP starts trying to kill future voters by sending cyborgs to the past to terminate them. Here in Oregon we vote by mail. Each ballot is placed into a "secrecy envelope" by the voter and must be signed and that is placed into a mailing envelope which can be either mailed or dropped off at collection place. The signature on each and every ballot is checked against the signature the person used when registering. Since the ballots are in the "secrecy envelope" this can be done before election day. On election day the envelopes are opened and tallied. Ballots are mailed to the voters about to weeks prior to the election.
I think it is a great system, although the GOP doesn't like it because people are encouraged to vote.

I'll just stop at the
Yeah, I did to.
Someone was crying about a lack of investigation into states with high illegal immigrant populations. Texas Atty. Gen. Greg Abbott (R) spent about a million and a half dollars (while defunding education because they didn't have any money) and found nothing, nada, zilch, zero that would have been thwarted by a photo ID.
Round and round we go and here years later the proponents still can't produce evidence for justification of a photo ID law. They've now resorted to well 'we can't prove it but we know deep down that it's happening, it's just too hard to prove, so trust us we need it'...LOL. Cons are funny - Funny cons.
Voting should be encouraged and made easier rather than making our citizens jump through unnecessary hoops to elect their representative.
That took all of 30 seconds to debunk:Someone was crying about a lack of investigation into states with high illegal immigrant populations. Texas Atty. Gen. And another 30 seconds to half debunk the debunkment. PolitiFact Texas | Greg Abbott claims 50 election fraud convictions since 2002
So what it looks like is a multi-year, multi-election, $1.5 million investigation that turned up ... *possibly* ... FOUR examples of voter impersonation. My God -- the sky is falling.
wow talk about moving the goalposts, first you want to see proof that voter fraud exists, and everytime evidence is shown you say its not enough foraction.and to top it off you dont seem to believe the sanchez dornan voter fraud scandal was important to the issue.
