Appeals court: Texas voter ID law violates Voting Rights Act

This, exactly. Voter IDs aren't a bad idea. The Texas law as written was terrible and I agree, unconsitutional. Make it easy to get the Voter ID. Make it free to voters. And make it effective at ensuring only US citizens may vote. I've read studies that the cost to do these things become astronomical. But it may just be that the studies were done with the agenda of preventing such measures to be taken, for ulterior motives.

Its already the standard in most states. Should be easy to implement nation wide. Texas just needs to rewrite the law and move forward.
