"Although no final ruling was issued, all three judges on the panel were deeply skeptical of arguments by Trump attorney William Consovoy.

Judge Raymond Lohier wondered if there was any subpoena Trump would consider justified.

“Is there a request for documents … that would not, in your view, be overbroad?” Lohier asked.

No, Consovoy replied.

“That’s a problem. You see why that’s a problem,” Lohier said.

Judge Pierre Leval called Trump’s allegations against Vance “deeply contrived.”

Judge Robert Katzmann scoffed at Trump’s claim that the grand jury Vance is using to investigate the Trump Organization should be limited in scope. The probe is examining the company’s accounting practices, among other issues.

“Grand juries, as you know, are given broad authority to do their work. Are you asking us to change the way grand juries have done their work for time immemorial just because someone is president of the United States?” Katzmann asked."

They're just tired of our con man President being a con man and acting like he's a King.

Hell, even if Trump wins he's in massive hot water with New York state.

It is why trump is so desperate to win re-election, once he is out of office he and his family become subject to State and Federal Laws and he knows that the States are just waiting for the day he is out, not to mention what Dem Government will do once they remove Barr and get the DOJ involved in doing their job again. Believe me he is getting very desperate, I would not be surprised to see him leave the country before Biden is sworn in and remain out of country for a long long time.

Just look at the Grifter’s bs.

The Trump campaign has rented office space at Trump Tower, off and on, since Donald Trump first announced his candidacy in June 2015. Exactly how much space the campaign actually uses in the landmark Fifth Avenue building is unclear. FEC filings show that the rent started around $35,000 a month, then jumped over the $100,000 mark after Trump won the 2016 Republican nomination, before settling at its current rate of $37,541.67 a month, or about $450,500 a year. Sometimes the rent spikes, for reasons that are difficult to understand.

yep

probably the worst thing to happen to the Trump family, long term, was the spoiled kid of the father (who made the money) to be elected President. most of the dirt (lawbreaking) will be exposed.

Yeup, by his need for major ego boosts he has put all of them in the spotlight. I assume all have good attorneys ready to go the day daddy gets booted out, I wonder how many will be out of the country on inauguration day.

But Trump doesn’t take his salary. What a con artist.

all this shit is so transparent. it's the volume of all the shit that people can't keep up with.

US banks figured out his con and shell game decades ago. Conservatives still haven't.

yeah, enforcing laws is so bad.

Vance wants Trump's tax returns because Cohen  accused him of tax fraud and the media accused him of various "frauds".

In other words, Vance's office has nothing, except Cohen's and the medias' "word".

"Enforcing law" ... :ROFLMAO:

"... Vance, a Democrat, began seeking the Republican president’s tax returns from his longtime accounting firm over a year ago, after Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen told Congress that the president had misled tax officials, insurers and business associates about the value of his assets.

Vance’s office argued in court papers this week that there’s “a mountainous record” of public allegations of misconduct to support its efforts to obtain Trump’s tax returns, such as news reports alleging Trump or his companies inflated or minimized the value of assets for business and tax purposes. ..."

Trump has manipulated his books forever, he is a grifter. The Trump Charity is another shining example.

One might argue that the fantastical pretexts for demanding his tax returns in the first place are "highly contrived."

I'm certain every Trump family member will be recieving a pardon, along with a whole entourage of others - starting with Pence. And, of course Pence will pardon Trump.

Doesn't help with non-federal charges obviously, but does absolve them of federal liability.

And none of those accusations were supported with evidence. So the left wing judges are allowing the left wing prosecutors and anti Trumpers to go fishing. At the same time we know Hunter Biden got millions from Chian, Russian and Ukraine but the left absolutely defends this shameless use of office to produce money for Bidens son.

be patient dude. we all know Trump isn't a liar or crook so he'll be vindicated and he (and his kids/family) won't be prosecuted for breaking our laws.

you do believe in law and order, right?

Vance has no obligation to tell Trump or anyone else what he knows and what he is investigating... YOU have no idea what evidence he already has in his possession.

They have already argued that in federal court, in fact, all the way to the supreme court and been laughed out of court.

Someone should contact that Vance guy and tell him the NYT has 20 years worth of Trump tax returns ... all he has to do is walk over to them.

🤣
