I know many of you have been offended by my comment earlier this evening, so I’m giving my apology to all who were offended by it.
I understand it was extremely rude and childish, and I’m sorry to all those with connections to the military.
I try to filter myself as much as I can, and that time I just made a really bad mistake.

Hope this won’t permanently affect things and I can assure you it will not happen again...

Obama

Can't speak for others, but I admire someone who has the courage to admit they made a mistake and apologize for it. Not many in our society have that kind of courage these days, as can frequently be seen in these threads.

In my case, it will not. Apology accepted; let's put this behind us.

I agree 100%. Anyone who screws up and takes responisbility for it, is OK in my book. As long as it's not a reoccuring theme.
