You mean tell me that Ms Barrett was the most qualified for the position out of all the white women jurists in the nation? I hardly think so. Jackson's jurist credentials easily exceeds those of Barrett. Jackson even has the support of two prominent conservative legal/pundits/lawyers and the National Fraternal Order of the Police. Maybe you should explore the reasons why you automatically assumed that no black woman jurist could possibly be more qualified than a white woman, or whatever color, race or gender of jurist you want to name.

She was picked because she was in a category of candidates who had been excluded previously & the bench was very strong.
Jackie Robinson was chosen to break the color barrier, because he was Black & qualified. One of his qualifications was an even temperament, to withstand the onslaught of racism coming his way.

Unfortunately, Roberts seems to let politics guide his decisions with much more weight than it should have. Alito has been very good, as well as Thomas.

You seem to have amnesia regarding the disgraceful behavior of the Democrats during the hearings. Right from the beginning, interrupting the proceedings, from beginning to end.

But, sure, you're on. We'll see if the Republicans disrupt things like the children that the Democrats are. Highly unlikely.

lol, coming from the political party with members who screamed "you lie!" to a president during the SOTU...or as recently Biden's SOTU, jeering and suddenly after 20 years pretending to give a shit about dead soldiers in Afghanistan...all to score cheap political points.
