A measles outbreak in Kansas doubled in less than a week to 23 cases and has “a possible link” to outbreaks in Texas and New Mexico that have sickened more than 370, the state health department said Wednesday.
--And health officials in Ohio say a single case identified in Ashtabula County has spread to nine others.
This is only happening because of stupid people.
Wonder if this came from the millions of immigrants that were admitted or who came illegally across the southern border. I'm willing to bet that few had been vaccinated. Did the Biden team check on that over the past 4 years? Fired folks who wouldn't take the Covid shot but allowed millions into the country without the measles vaccine?--Kansas measles cases double to 23 and new Ohio outbreak sickens 10

While focused on the growing Texas Measles outbreak, I was surprised to find we seem to be in a nationwide growing Measles Epidemic - occurring primarily in rural areas among the unvaccinated.
The Kansas outbreak, with 23 cases (recently doubled in less than a week), appears to be related to the still growing Texas outbreak.
The Ohio outbreak quickly grew from a single case to 10 positive.
The New Mexico's outbreak - directly related to Texas' outbreak - has grown to 46 cases.
Unlike the epicenter Texas county with an 82% vax rate, several of the effected Kansas counties have vax rates in the 50's & 60's! Given that, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Kansas rate burgeon higher.

I must add that in 2021 Kansas greatly expanded religious exemptions from vaccinations, requiring only a handwritten note claiming religious objection. Ostensibly, perhaps along with greatly expanding home schooling requiring no vaccinations, this is how some Kansas counties have vaccination rates of only 50 and 60%.
Also to note: Growing numbers of Texas measles victims are being admitted to hospitals with concomitant Vitamin A toxicity. This would ostensibly seem to be related to RFK's Measles Treatment advice.

Why do you keep dragging that dead horse into here and pounding on it?Wonder if this came from the millions of immigrants that were admitted or who came illegally across the southern border. Yeah, I'm not losing sleep over it.The good news is it appears to be pretty much confined to rural areas and among the unvaccinated.
But that it is occurring exclusively in rural areas would indeed be counterintuitive, if we didn't evaluate the data in terms of vaccination rates.
The Vitamin A toxicity trend did catch me by surprise, though. My additional reference article in Post #2 also claims there's been a run on Cod Liver Oil, which in light of RFK Jr's guidance and the Vitamin A problem - is not unexpected I suppose.

He also conveniently forgot to look at border crossing numbers during the pandemic, so yes.You people definitely have found your Jews.

All those people in these reports are unvaccinated Americans. Not illegal immigrants.
It's kind of pathetic, you trying to blame this on Biden. Pathetic as in people are starting to feel sorry for you.
You people definitely have found your Jews.
Yeah, I'm not losing sleep over it.
Vitamin A as a therapy is useful if the patient is malnourished. If not, it is harmful.
This is one of those times where being half right is worse than being all the way wrong.
This has been established fact for more than a hundred years.Apparently, it can be quite harmful if they're being hospitalized..
These kids are being victimized by their parents twice.
And, God only knows how their "homeschooling" is going . . .
He also conveniently forgot to look at border crossing numbers during the pandemic, so yes.
Measles doesn’t just materialize in the middle of nowhere. Someone carried it into rural America and, considering where this started, it was probably introduced by an illegal immigrant. It's "coming from" lack of vaccination. The problem is exclusive to the unvaccinated and poorly vaccinated area. These are Americans.
Maybe RFK Jr. will ship them some vitamin A?

After RFK Jr. recommends vitamin A as a measles treatment, some Texas patients show signs of toxicity
Weeks after Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. touted vitamin A as an effective treatment for measles amid the largest outbreak of disease in decades, hospitalized patients in West Texas are being treated for signs of vitamin A toxicity.www.yahoo.com

That is what the articles I linked to are saying. No more Vitamin A! Please!
Read my addendum link in Post #2. Texas kids are now being hospitalized for Vitamin A toxicity. I'm serious.
The CDC declared measles to be eradicated in the United States in 2000. Every case since then has been a result of international travel and immigration. How much international travel do you think Mennonites in rural Texas are doing?98M Americans travel internationally every year, and there's 68M annual visitors to the U.S., and you purport to specifically know which is the alpha case?
With the low vax rates in these areas it's quite possible the disease has been endemic - but not detected.
And given Mexico's childhood vax rate is higher than some of these affected counties, it is quite likely the Americans putting the migrants at risk.
Nope.Wonder if this came from the millions of immigrants that were admitted or who came illegally across the southern border. I'm willing to bet that few had been vaccinated. The Mennonites again?
Well so long as it doesn't outbreak too bad, the vaxxed may be safe. But if it grows too large, than we can start expecting mutations and variances that will put the vaccinated people at risk. It's being detected outside the Mennonite Community, but exclusively among the unvaxxed.
