I'm wasn't ON camera for thirty-five years, I was behind the camera.
It has nothing to do with how old I am, or how old I was.
I'm just saying that I know what forty looked like when I was a little kid, and I know what sixty looks like now, and there's a huge difference, at least for some.

I get to see (or got to see) what these women looked like before the makeup artist arrived, and I know what plastic surgery work looks like. It was my job to know these things.
Both women and men are not aging at the rate they used to.

I'm all for "new blood" too, but I'm not a fan of impertinence. As I say, Ocasio-Cortez is going to be schooled. Not making it onto Ways and Means should have been a hint.

The GOP has a majority in the senate and control of the WH. That's not destruction, and retains more house seats than when they were the minority under Bush-Obama. It's not becoming to simply parrot what some journalist says.

And, I rush to add, I think the rooftop dance video is darling. But Ocasio-Cortez has a lot to learn, and one of those lessons is the consequence of impudence to one's elders. The Twitterverse may love "Who dis?" but my bet is that insulting the venerable Lieberman in this way is not sitting well with her more experienced colleagues.

I'm sure she's ruffling feathers, and I am 100% sure she has a lot to learn. Same can be said about Trump, BTW..

But don't pretend much of her 'popularity' isn't being caused by the daily hate being spewed out by the Con media. Posting fake nude pictures of her? Come on, you have nothing to say about that?

So because a journalist says the same thing I do, or I say the same thing they do, you are telling me it's "not becoming?" Well, hell. May as well shut down the entire forum, then. Can't talk about something if a journalist has already said it.

As far as the GOP have control of anything - yes, you do have control of the Senate and the WH - for now. You had it all for a while, and got ****-all done, except reversing a bunch of Obama's policies out of petty childishness. Obviously losing 40 seats in the House meant nothing to you, I guess.

Don't play dumb. Parroting a decades-old idea does nothing to contribute to dialogue, at all. "The gop's going to destroy itself!" journalists have been saying for decades now, because I remember it in the Bush years, when no one thought Trump would ever be a consequence.

I did Google. Not going to waste one of my free NY Times reads for the month; it's too early. But I did learn that that Daily Caller is to blame and also:

The Daily Caller changed the headline and apologized, tweeting, "As soon as editors noticed the twitter headline, we rapidly had it deleted and fixed ... But here's the thing--it's not just those who don't like her who are incessantly promoting her; those who like and champion her do too. No, I don't know the names of most of the other incoming freshmen. That's because they aren't, so far, interesting to the MSM.

Is your motivated cognition so strong as to prevent you from even understanding plain English? I stated that "there is nothing wrong with defending an article at the Daily Caller if the article is accurate and is relaying other mainstream news reports.

There is STILL nothing wrong with defending an accurate and mainstream sourced article, not only by the Daily Caller but by any other publication as well.

Obviously no one is defending the publication of an allegedly inaccurate lede or a photo from reddit's twitter equivalent low brow sourcing - assuming you can read plain English.

And, by the way, it should be equally apparent that a lede that states "some people think" it is a photo of AOC is perfectly accurate; they didn't know if they were real or fake, and that its a huge stretch to characterize a photo of someone's feet as a "nude photo".

Here is that so-called "fake NUDE" of faux blue nosed outrage:

The only sin the Daily Caller made was of pettiness, to republish an unnewsworthy photo as a cheap shot at AOC. Wisely, they pulled it immediately.

There's other sites besides the NY Times with the story.. As for the Daily caller if they knew at first the photo was a fake, but still published it, but because of the backlash and criticisms they then apologized? That's BS.. If they knew in the 1st place they were fake, they shouldn't have posted it. Their apology is hallow.

I have never once said the GOP was going to destroy itself. Never once. In fact, I've never heard anyone else saying that either, until now, because now is the worst I've ever seen, with the party being as split as it is. This is even worse than the Tea Party. When this is all over and done, there will be nothing but rubble. The good GOP will not want to be associated with the Trump arm of the GOP. And those are my words - not some talking head on TV.
