this stuff is the high end office stuff, and what i have been running....

Currently no towers available.

i got 3 computers from them, 2 laptops and 1 desktop. on the Sale days they are a fraction of new price, and i don't need bleeeding edge.

if you need High Performance then this is NOT your place to shop.

i just watch everything they sell, sometimes they are at dumpster pricing, so i grab. spending 1000 or 2000 on a machine isn't my thing, generally it is between 100 and 200. the laptop batteries are guaranteed for 80% life if mem serves, if you get a flaky one just email them and they send you another one.

the Optiplex towers are good, but the Work Stations are better, more room and better built. regardless, so far Zero trouble. office machines are built tougher than the Consumer junk cheaply sold.

let us know how things work out for you. their are mountains of these things out there if you know where to look and what to buy. i used to build my own, but i buy the whole machine cheaper than buying the Windows OS. i just don't buy the Gray market Windows OS.

When I buy, it will be nearly top of the line or top of the line.

I like ASUS. They're solid, reliable, and built to last. Many models are also upgrade-friendly and let you easily switch out parts or install another OS. Some, like the TUF series, are even tested to military-grade durability standards. Great if you want something that can take a bit of a beating and last for years.

I go with Acers nowadays though i kinda dont like having to split my total memory into two hard drives.
