Any interest in a national/global meetup?

We tried this several years ago at a single place, resulted in two older mods eventually getting married and few were able to attend but I wonder with new technology (skype,handgouts) we try something again but bring it to the next level:

1. Several areas around the US, Europe and Australia set to meetup at a specific time.
2. Skype or Handgouts during the event.
3. Drink, discuss, smoke cigars and have a glorious time.
4. Folks that are unable to physically attend can do so virtually.

This is an unscientific poll and so replies will get more attention.

It was a great idea then and an even greater one now for all the reasons you listed. I would be interested for sure.

Interest. Due to visa issues I am more inclined to be a host. Going virtual is not worth my anonymity but face to face is.
