Here is my current theory about why Democrats are now the anti-racism party.

Racism was common after the Civil War, especially in the south. There was a lot of resentment about having lost the war and not being able to own slaves. The typical ugly racist was a rural southerner, a "redneck."

The racist redneck is the type of person that educated well-off Democrats despise the most. They blame redneck ignorance and hatred for most of this country's troubles.

That was then, and now is another time. Most southern rednecks, and rural people in general, are not racists anymore and most do not belong to the KKK.

But educated Democrats still hate the anti-science bible believers, the homo-haters, etc.

So I think it's really hatred of the "rednecks," more than love of blacks, that motivates white Democrats to be anti-racists.

Hate is always a bigger motivator than love, especially in politics. It's hard to really love people you don't know and have little in common with.

Black Americans in rat controlled inner city face poverty at higher rats than other racial groups. Even though black immigrants manage to succeed, black Americans live in such poverty and swill and are led by corrupt pieces of **** so that while everyone else succeeds, black Americans in rat runs cities continue to fail...and die.

The democrat party isnt anti-racist. They kill and devastate more black Americans than their Klan ancestors could have ever dreamed of.

Democrats control these cities primarily because Republicans abandoned them along with white people and moved to the suburbs. If democrats are the anti-racism party, it is historically because their urban constituents in the north - Irish, Jews, Italians - suffered from significant discrimination generations ago. In my Italian neighborhood in 1960, I heard JFK make an issue of that when appearing there during his campaign. More recently, in the south and elsewhere, traditionally republican-voting blacks switched to the Democratic Party in huge numbers after the civil rights era. Democrats are to be faulted for not caring enough about white southerners and rural folks, as their economic interests are the same as those of African-Americans. Someone like Trump couldn't care less about working class issues (as his policies indicate) but he can and has taken advantage of democrats' neglect of these and their sometimes absurd political correctness.
