Oh....I get it....if Nielsens do it....its not a poll. If Zogby or AP or Times or Newsweek does it...its a poll. Just shows your distorted twisted views.

Whether its Nielsens ratings or Newsweeks tallying.....its a poll. What do you think a poll is? Its a polling of what the publics view is...be it...their view on a Presidential race....or their view on what is the best soap opera.

Don't give me your B.S......i've been around long enough to know what Neilson ratings are....I don't need your education. If you cannot understand that the Neilson ratings are a sample of the overall audience in much the same way a poll is a sample of the overall view in a political or other race....than you really have very little understanding of the world of politics.....in which case...I cannot understand what you would be doing on a website such as this.

Surely you do do not think that Hannity and Colmes is a news show? Even you must recognize that it's a show that is meant to draw gullible, hate-filled Conservatives who need to have their "hate America" Jones fulfilled every night after hearing the hard news that is constantly depressing for people who have political views like you do NP?

How are you going to cope with a Democratic Congress and Executive Branch? Hell, even in the worst case scenario Democrats control Congress and have a GOP President (Rudy) who is pro-choice, pro-gay rights, pro-gun control and much closer to a Democratic than he is to a Conservative.

Must suck to be a Conservative in the USA these days if you're into politics....

You're kidding, right? You do not see that polls and ratings are identical? Each takes a scientific sampling and extrapolates the data into national figures?

So do you think Hannity and Colmes is a "news show"?

If the answer is "YES" then "Countdown" is a news show too though most people are intelligent enough to know that both shows are meant to entertain first their bases, Conservatives "wahoos" for Hanninty and Liberal "wahoos" for Countdown..or do you think that Countdown is biased and Hannity is news?

One last thing....it must really, really suck to live in a world where you think the entire main stream media is against you except for FNC! If I believed that to be true I would be an angry person too.

If I recall correctly NP you think the NY Times, Wash. Post, USA Today, LA Times, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, C-Span (I really chuckle of this one), Time, Newsweek, Businessweek, US News, Rolling Stone and Borat are all "LEFT WING and therefore not creditable in any way....

To use a favorite ploy of Fox News Channel "One might say" that being a Conservative who prescribes to Navy Pride's assessment of media might be suffering from paranoia and severe Limbaugh disease! :mrgreen:
