Not all reality shows are, as the saying goes, created equal. One that'd call an already successful businessman -- one, moreover, who has need for neither the paltry winnings nor notoriety among the ilk who watch Big Brother -- to live sequestered in a "house" with some quantity of strangers is definitely not the sort of reality show that Tony should do. Besides, as a hedge fund manager, he could do his own "Housewives-esque," "Apprentice-esque" or "Shark Tank-esque" reality show.

Businesspeople are keen to be well known and renowned in their industry, yet anonymous to general public. Business people allow their professional accomplishments to speak for and presage them, and the people by whom they care to be known are past, present and future clients and colleagues, not "Millie Main Street." That kind of celebrity is for entertainers, and for them, it's just fine for it's essential to their careers. (Hell, for reality TV stars, the notoriety/mass-appeal popularity is itself the lynchpin of their entertainment career.) For consultants, accountants, financiers (which is what Tony is), attorneys, corporate executives, etc. mass-appeal notoriety is pointless, and often enough, creates more problems than profits.
