These talibornagains, they condemn homosexuality and fornication and craft all kinds of laws. But, we see a lot of hypocrisy, don't we?
(BTW, the texts were much too raunchy to share here)

And these guys blame gays for ruining the institution of families.

As rumors of an extramarital affair swirled around Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill, the conservative Republican did what conservative Republicans do in times of controversy and tumult: He sought refuge in the warm embrace of conservative talk radio to line up his denials and get his story straight. “People are attempting to use this to either advance the candidacy of other people, or they are doing it primarily to harm me and my family,” Merrill, who is married with two children, told the local station Wednesday morning. “It’s very frustrating and very sad.” Elsewhere, Merrill, who has had his eye on the state’s soon-to-be vacant U.S. Senate seat, went even further labeling the woman he denied having an affair with as “stalking” and “harassing” him.

While Merrill was summoning all of the righteous indignation he could muster, the legal assistant who Merrill said he most certainly wasn’t having an affair with, was handing AL.com a 17-minute recording of a phone call between the two that, ahem, indicated otherwise. On the recording, was a discussion of “various sexual acts they performed during dozens of romantic encounters.” Merrill also appeared to try to end the affair, saying on the tape that he was seeking the Lord’s help to stay away from the woman. The woman, who said the relationship took place over three years, also accused Merrill of using racist language to describe Black people in the state.

Surprise, surprise, surprise. Republicans have nothing to say?

He's seeking help from the lord....with his lying ass.

It’s occured to lots of folks that many, MANY conservatives would change their entire worldview if they simply a) admitted they enjoy sex in all its forms; b) smoked weed.

That’s it. Sex and drugs. Try it without guilt, your whole world opens up.

This happens all too often, and Republicans apologize for them more than anything else.

Its the uptight religious upbringing. They believe all that bullshit, but....their libido doesn't, and they give in.

So glad that this piece of shit won't run for Senate, but, its Alabama, there is a line of similar creeps who will take his place.

Insurrectionist Rep. Mo Brooks now has Trump’s endorsement for this Alabama Senate seat.

Considering Trump led the insurrection, it makes sense.

Funny how these "conservative Christians" with all of their "values" are just fine sex outside of marriage, pedophilia, rape and sexual attacks, being gay (but lying and hiding in a closet), being intolerant of others with different skin colors and religions, etc., etc. They claim to follow Jesus, but Jesus didn't lie, kill, rape and hate his fellow man. These scumbags are all hypocrites, and a cancer in America. Now that they are fully embracing extreme rightwing conspiracies, they are a further detriment to our society.

I thought after trump cheating on your wife was suddenly OK with the religious right

And the hits just keep coming....this time its an Elections Commission General Counsel....yeah, Florida.

Eric L. Lipman is an American politician and judge in Minnesota. He served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2001 to 2004 as a member of the Republican party, representing district 56B until November 2002 and after redistricting[when?] district 56A.[1]

Career
Lipman holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Union College and obtained his law degree from George Washington University.[citation needed]

Minnesota House of Representatives, 2001-2004
During the 82nd Legislative Session(2001-2), Lipman served as the Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Elections.[2][3]

During the 83rd Legislative Session,(2002-4) Lipman served as Vice-Chairman of the House Governmental Operations and Veterans Affairs Policy Committee, and was part of the negotiating team on the Omnibus Judiciary Finance Bill.[4]

Sex Offender Policy Coordinator, 2004-2006
After the 2004 legislative session, Lipman resigned and accepted an inter-agency position in Governor Tim Pawlenty's Administration as State's Sex Offender Policy Coordinator.[5]

In September 2004, Pawlenty officially assigned him as the Coordinator staff liaison between a 12-member panel and the Governor's office where Lipman pressed for reform on the sentencing, supervision and treatment of predatory offenders in Minnesota.[6][7][8] In January 2005, Pawlenty drew upon the panel's work when he proposed sex offender reforms.[9] A number of these reforms were enacted by the Minnesota Legislature that year.[10]

Alabama is one of the few states where a Trump endorsement still matters. Not too smart those Alabamians. I suspect WinRed makes a good profit in that state.

Friend of Matt and Joel's perhaps.

A ton of men have a very low sex drive. It's easy for them to preach about morality and such.

Other men are more normal or have a high sex drive.

If you're normal or have a high sex drive and you are taught that sex is dirty or evil then you will almost always have issues throughout your life. It's a horrible thing to teach animals who have normal/strong desires.

And why is it that people like me, who have those horrible political and sexual views, have never cheated on our wives? Is it because we had guilt free sex while we were single and that we view sex as a good thing?
