ANOTHER HACK? Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee says it has been hacked

If only the Democrats were as willing to name Islamic Radical Terrorism as a threat to national security, as compared to their immediate willingness to point fingers at the Russians to accuse them of threatening national security. It's amazing how on one issue Democrats are absolutely trying their hardest to not name the threat, but on the other issue they're very anxious to name the threat. Why the double standard?

It's just like what Trump said about Romney - ie. if that guy had spent even half the energy attacking Obama, as compared to the energy he showed in attacking Trump, then he wouldn't have lost the election.

Likewise, if the Obama Whitehouse had shown even half the forcefulness in condemning Islamic radicalism as it's shown in attacking Trump, then public confidence over Obama's stance against terrorism would be greater.

It is like locking the door and leaving your windows open in Chicago. Those entities are not entitled to use govt servers so yeah. It is pretty obvious they had to use private servers. You read something into my post that wasn't there.

They were hacked because they could be hacked. I would look at the cyber security company that was monitoring the server. I would look at the procedures that were put into place for access to the server. How many characters and what kind of characters were required for a password? Did people open phishing emails? If they did did they report them?

The remark about the private server doesn't apply to this discussion. The servers that have been hacked that belong to the Democrat party were the DNC, DCCC. The other servers that were hacked were the Clinton Campaign and the Clinton Foundation. Those are all private entities. They aren't government agencies so they don't qualify for government assistance or support (government servers). If they want servers they have to provide their own private server.

The security software was provided by the same company. I would assume they also all had the same security policies. I think, but I could be wrong, that if the RNC servers would have been hacked the information would have been leaked.

This is amazing. Contrary to the practices of the Democratic Party, cyber security does matter. I would not be at all surprised to see those 33,000 emails that were deleted from Hillary's server published online.

I read an article this morning where a former DHS dude who predicted Snowden type behavior before Snowden happened (if I recall the article correctly) stated:

1. The DHS likely has Hillary's 30,000 missing emails.

2. He wouldn't be surprised if someone from the US fed up with Hillary compromising our national security has done the hacking.

Interesting theories.

While Comey did say there was no evidence she lied to the FBI, that is not the same as saying she told the truth to the American public — which was the point of Wallace’s question. Comey has repeatedly not taken a stand on her public statements.

And although Comey did say many emails were retroactively classified, he also said that there were some emails that were already classified that should not have been sent on an unclassified, private server. That’s the uncomfortable truth that Clinton has trouble admitting.
