Suspect resists during traffic stop. Cop insists on physical detention. Suspect runs cop over on escape.

As we have seen in other cases of police abuse, this never would have happened if the cop simply backed off and allowed the suspect to flee. If only cops could learn to be more reasonable in their approach to black suspects we'd be able to stop this kind of thing. There is no reason for a cop t pull over a black man as all black men KNOW that the only reason for the stop is racism and the desire of cops to arrest or assassinate them.

-edit-

Fortunately, for the sake of justice, the suspect was able to be released on bond and can now go on living a normal life.

Lutherf found an example of one stopped driver running over a cop and we can't know that any individual stopped driver won't also do that, so if you criticize some other bad shoot that means you think "all black men KNOW that the only reason for the stop is racism and the desire of cops to arrest or assassinate them." Or something. He's not entirely sure what he means, so just know that libruls are poopy and it's bad to criticize some other bad shoot.

Great culture war stuff. Really great.

What's next? "Humor" about babies that died in a famine? Maybe tie it into a similarly dishonest attack on safety net programs, something like that?

Well, to be fair, I can think of a cop right now that's sitting in jail for shooting a guy that was trying to take off on her while one of her partners was in the car. At least this cop had the decency to just let go and get run over so that he didn't have to injure and innocent man.

Simple solution is to have cops shoot all suspects on sight. That way they will remain safe and secure. You never know when little old granny shoplifting cat food might pull a gun and shoot a cop. Best to kill her rather than put a police officer in danger

That solution would be entirely consistent with the liberal propensity to punish potential crimes rather than actual crimes.

Is that not what shooting suspects for not following orders does? All in the name of officer safety

In VERY few cases is that what happened. In nearly every case the cop's actions were tied directly to a REASONABLE presumption of an imminent threat of death or grave bodily harm. The exceptions that come to mind right off the bat are Mohammad Noor, the shooting of Walter Scott and the shooting of Levar Jones. The shooting of Tamir Rice would fall into a similar category.

the police handled Tamir Rice horribly and incompetently.

Driving right next to the kid, surprisingly the kid, then automatically shooting him was a failure on the police. Stop 30 yards away get out of the car and talk to him in a calm manner is what should have been done. The cops murdered him due to their incompetence

In that case, I agree completely. There was nobody else near Rice at the time so the threat to public safety was was minimal and their choice to approach like Rat Patrol is what caused the exigence on the part of the cop nearest Rice. That being said, again, these instances are the far and away an exception to the way things normally go.
