Animated Avatars

Just a minor question, but I'm not sure where else to ask.

I've seen several members use animated avatars before, and at least one now. But when I try to use one (a .gif) I go to a screen that says that I may not use animated avatars. So, um, what's up with this?

You have to sacrifice a goat to the Alter of CC and kill a virgin in honor of DP to get that.

OR you have to donate money... not sure, I've heard claims both are valid methods to getting this.

Don't feel bad. I see people with these long ass signatures too, and I if I copy/paste exactly what they have into my sig, it won't let me use it. Says it's too long. Never have figured that one out either.
