Andrew Card has announced his resignation. This was announced by President Bush this morning amid calls by fellow Republicans for a White House shakeup, and by Bush's crashing poll numbers.

This is another piece of good news. Bush's retreat from Neocon to pragmatist is now in full swing.

Buh bye Neocons. Welcome back to reality, Mr. President. You have my total support on this move. Good job.

Article is here.

Third Andy Card thread this morning. Dana, you even posted in the others.

I was gonna say, "Three and counting." But I see ol' KC beat me to the draw. I gotta wake up earlier.:doh

Mods, lock this thread.

As for posting in the others, that would be difficult since this was my first post of the day.

Yep, my fault. I was thinking someone else. Are you like me, I was surprised that Card had one of the longest tenures as CoS.
