Sorry, I don't have a link for this yet, as it is just breaking. At this very moment, US troops are waging a fierce battle in Southern Pakistan, and the target described as a very senior al Qaeda official. bin Laden comes to mind. Would be a good kill if this is indeed the target, and he is finally taken out.

We went across the border? It's got to be someone huge then. And I. also, remember that we recently stated that we believed OBL was setting up terror training camps in Southern Pakistan?

Yup. This is exactly why I am thinking bin Laden himself may be the target.

There's still no links over the wire where did you hear about it?

It was a breaking news item on MSNBC. My wife was watching something on the channel when it came on. She came over to the computer where I was doing some audio work and yanked the headphones off my head. Scared the crap out of me. LOL.

It's been five hours I wonder why there's no links out yet.

You're not referring to the senior Taliban leader they captured in Pakistan a couple days ago, right? Anyway, Pakistan has been pretty good about looking the other way when our troops have crossed the border, ever since Cheney's recent visit.

Maybe it's Bin Laden, but probably not.

They're waiting for us to fall asleep so they can surprise us with the good news. They'll wake us up and yell "Bin Laden is dead! Surprise!"
