because of monopolies that develop in states like north Dakota.
insignificant near monopolies develop obviously because liberals made competition illegal. Obviously monopolies exist when you create them!!! but liberal govt does not eliminate them under the Sherman act because liberal govt wants them becauase they are deemed good near monopolies because they meet state requirements.
NOw you grasp it I presume.
Insurance firms in each state are protected from interstate competition by the federal McCarran-Ferguson Act (1945), which grants states the right to regulate health plans within their borders.
So you oppose states' rights?
First.. competition is not illegal.
in commerce all conservatives do. Imagine if each state required its own kind of car. Now you understand what went wrong with health care. isn't learning the best?
Yeah no.. .
You just went against the conservative argument against obamacare.
and went with the liberal argument of the commerce clause giving the federal government the right to trump states rights.
Conservatives are for free trade among states and nations in cars and healthcare since the more competition you have the better the quality and price of goods and services. Conservatives do not want to exercise states rights in regard to cars and health care since it would increase price and decrease quality of goods and services.
so in other words.. you are against state rights if they do something you don't like.

conservatives are for capitalism and free trade so naturally oppose Obamacare which is socialist/communist meaning it is heavily controlled through govt rules enforced at gun point if necessary.
what? the commerce clause had nothing to do with health care conservatives would argue. They would want national capitalism in all industries. Liberals would argue the commerce clause gives them the right to manage anything remotely like a business
Actually the commerce clause is what was argued and accepted by the court as the reason that Obamacare was constitutional.

One of the reasons is that the U.S. government actually collects most of those taxes. Not so everywhere.
so lets see, should we follow the world that is far less successful than we are or should they follow us??
Personally, I don't care that much about the rest of the world. So you decide.
