America's Infrastructure Is Slowly Falling Apart

NASA spending is the first thing that came to your mind?

Where is the coordination?

The hard truth is you need millions of odd job workers to fix your infrastructure. Americans are unwilling to do the dirty job.

Ridiculous... Americans are the ones that built it in the first place and the ones that maintain it. There are millions of Americans who would love a consistent good paying job improving dams, roads, waterways, bridges, sewers, etc. Many of those jobs would be highly skilled ones at that.

What we spend on space is a pittance compared to what we spend on wars we should have thought better of starting.

Lemme guess, we need to increase spending on infrastructure so we can " increase aggregate demand ".

Obama's already promised shovel ready jobs once. How many times do you need to be lied to before you stop trusting some Politicians BS ?

What a moronic statement, one of the largest segments of the unemployed are construction workers. They are very willing to work.

Why don't you keep your racist comments to yourself.

Read and gain more knowledge about your country before you debate the topic!
What are the jobs Americans won't do?

Why don't YOU read your own frigging article:

"The failure here isn't in the work ethic of Americans. Rather, it lies with the CEOs, business owners, university and hospital administrators, and government officials—and ultimately, with all of us who benefit from cheap labor—to offer the wages and benefits necessary to attract sufficient numbers of legal workers. There's a reason they call the labor market a market."

You never countered the point, infrastructure is by and large construction, and there are millions of un/underemployed US construction workers.

Not interested in failures. The bottom line is you shun dirty jobs.

You are not interested in factual debate on infrastructure employment, you are interested in posting articles you don't read and making racist comment about American workers while employing a hypocritical avatar.

LOLOLOL....sarcastic avatar!

Checkout where racism is profound!
"It's OK for me to do it....because someone else is doing it too!"

Seriously, this is your justification for your racism....because there are other racists? Is your argument going to be it is OK to attack American construction worker....because some are racists?

You won't get your point through when you try to put words in my mouth.

You haven't been able to defend your premise or your racism, other than saying that your racism is justified because others are racists also.

Back to the topic now!

I heard Singapore was a little **** stain to the rest of the world but nevertheless, sure we should spend a little more on infrastructure. Perhaps in some areas the roads could use a little fixin.

It is a bullchit premise, it is nothing more than racist commentary on US workers, specifically US construction workers.

Not even close, but it probably felt good to type it out and post it.
