I'm confused, again... because it seems like there is different definitions for being American and anti-American.
I guess, all - what's American is good and what's anti-American is bad, right? and All what's good is American and what's bad is anti-American, right?
Also we can think this question by asking what people like to be American (features of American) and what's not (if this "issue" isn't just black/white, 2 dimensional simplicity). I'm thinking that American great isn't great for everyone. As you know, I'm not Trump supporter, but Trump told "leave if you don't like it here" (not direct quote). There's some truth in it, because progressives are complaining about things a lot, but if all of it is from nothing (= issues are illusions) it can be seen as anti-American (complaining without reason and trying to turn country to something weird and bad).
My wild guess is that being American have some different meanings if you ask about it from different people, like 1% richest, homeless, vet, worker with 2-3 jobs, student, single mom, so on..

anti-American is what?
I'll let "The Voice" answer you from 75 years ago....American is what?
It looks to me like your strategies have already been implemented in my country. If I think any anti-country (whatever it is), I'm thinking goals. Lets assume that I'm anti-american and my goal is to destroy US - what options I have to achieve this goal? Not much, but...
I tell how I would do it:
1) find out all main factors/mechanisms in politics / populism
2) structure analysis about society to find out possible working harmful narratives to inject in - because you need to change some ground rules first, how people think, right?
3) find some people inside to work with, but don't let them know who's calling shots - so decent smoke screen is critical.
I like to find out if there is any highly valued subjects and if there is any conflict between those, I will use that. Usually best mind altering weaponry is already part of society and all I need to do is: poke. And this 'poke' is always coming from people inside US society (to minimize confidence issues). Another way to fuel it is controlling narratives (harder to do in US, because of freedom of speech, but I would still try to spit my propaganda all over, some of it will stuck anyway), but basic strategy is maintaining conflicts at all cost and try to grow them, even slow progress is progress - so after 5-10 years, country is something else (if not yet in civil war). Widening gaps between different groups and blaming people, messing up things all over for some chaos. To get this whole thing working you need to start movement, enough people to believe whatever is useful to bring country down. Also it's important to "hack" all possible obstacles, like judiciary / police / army - so you're not getting nasty surprises from those and ruin your nasty work.
That's how I think about anti-American, it's someone who like to see US burn to ashes. Those possible puppets (inside people) don't know what they are doing, so I don't count them as anti-American (or if it is, it's not intentional).
I know it's silly and I wrote this one really quick, but it's just my way to define anti-country (US or other).
