All Nine Congressmen from Border Districts Oppose the Wall

Wow. DEMOCRATS OPPOSE TRUMP? No way!

Will Hurd has impressed me positively on multiple occasions.

Eight are Democrats but on touchy subjects Congressmen typically reflect the views of their districts irrespective of party. No crisis or national emergency in their estimation.

Well cool. Those nine guys can try to talk Congress into using their power to shut down Trump's national emergency...if they think they can stand the heat they'll get when they do.

But keep in mind, Trump will also have to sign the joint resolution they'll need to come up with. That means they'll have to have veto proof support. That's a tall order

No...all we'll see from those nine is useless rhetoric and that won't stop Trump.

You're right, it may not stop him. The point is that the argument in favor of the wall seems not to be shared by the people who live in the affected areas. This may mean nothing to Trump but then the concerns of others rarely mean mean much to Trump.

shrug...

It's for their own good. You, of all people, should agree with that attitude.
