Venus is pretty interesting. The Sun on Venus is 50% bigger and 50% hotter, making the Sun over twice as hot on Venus (2.25 times).

Which is what caused what little water that existed on Venus to boil off into water vapor which then led to a "runaway greenhouse effect" and with the absence of an Ozone Layer, the bonds of the water vapor were easily broken by UV-A/B/C, soft and hard x-rays, soft and hard gammas, and protons and neutrons from the Sun leaving free Hydrogen and free Oxygen which easily escaped the atmosphere because of a lack of sufficient gravity.

It was way earlier than that.

When you take engineering physics at university, you will become familiar with the Law of Radiative Properties. It applies the Inverse Square Law. For a point source, the intensity of the radiation varies inversely with the square of the distance from the source. Accordingly, doubling the distance reduces intensity of the radiation by a factor of four making it 1/4th or 25% of its original value. It's also applicable to radioactive sources.

For that reason, the temperature on Venus was well in excess of 150°F. However, when the Sun first formed, it was about 5% larger than it is now. As a result, the temperatures on Venus would have been much higher, and assuming Venus actually had any liquid water, which is a big "if" it would not have lasted long and the planet was already doomed 3 Billion years ago.
