Its getting down to the wire in the American League wild card race and it looks like it could go any way. So what do you guys think, Red Sox, White Sox, Yankees, or Twins (the smart choice). And either the Red Sox or Yankees will win their division so choose wisely.

Twinkies.

I hope this is how it turns out:
Boston in the East, Detroit Central, Oakland West, Twins Wild, Yankees Crying.

I'll tell you what'll happen if Yankees don't go:

'We've been waiting, and finally or Mets made it! Hurray, everybodys a Mets fan!'

Loyal my ***, any city'd be loyal with an owner that loyal. Don't get me wrong, can't blame George for wanting to win.

Now, NL wildcard race, my pick:
.........................................................................Barry and the Giants! hahaha just kidding. Houston.

I hate to say this but, the White Sox!:3oops:

Houston will probably win the wildcard, but really, who cares about the NL? They will just get swept in the World Series anyway.

The way the Cardinals have been playing of late, you can't count Houston or Cincy out of winning the NL Central...

The Yankees, Tigers and A's will win the divisions and the White Sox will win the wild card...........Take it to the bank......

I guess you didn't see Santana slap the Sox around today did you? Twins win 7-3 and are only one game down in the wild card race.

One game does not make a season my friend......He is all you got now that the other guy has gone down..........

The pitching's only getting better, and this late in the season every win counts. Liriano will be back just in time to get the Twins to the pennant.

How 'bout this for a prediction....

The Tigers are going to fold and choke, the Chi-Sox will win the division, the Twinkies will win the Wild Card.

The A's will win the west and now that the Bo-Sox has screwed themselves, the Yankees will win the East.

In the NL, the Dodgers in the West, the Mets in the East. The Cardinals pitching will let them down and Cincy will win the Central, but the Cardinals will hang on and win the Wild Card.

Depending on whether Glavine comes back for the Mets and how Pedro is feeling, the Mets will win the NL pennant(as a Cardinal fan, that pains me to say it). The Yanks will win the AL...

Those are my 2 major predictions:

1) The Tigers will choke and not make the playoffs
2) The Cardinals will choke and lose the division, but win the wild card.

A Tigers choke...Wow, that'd be great...I don't know how they've been as good as they are all year, they have very few players leading their positions in the stats, but it is all about the team I guess.

Yeah, it's what got the Twins where they are. I guess growing up during the so called "steroid era" has kind of made me underestimate how important pitching is, call me jaded...

There's actually an American League wild card race? LOL

It's pretty much down to the Twins and White Sox...now the National League...there's a wild card race!

My StL Cardinals have always put a quality team on the field...and they're picking up the pace...they've won 4 out of the last 5, and Cincy is shooting themselves in the foot. Philly will get the wild card.

Looks like my White Sox are choking :boohoo:

I really thought you were a nice girl?

I still think the Sox will take the W.Card, so don't sweat it.....bitch.;)

It's starting to look like reaganburch was right with his Tigers choke prediction, my Twins absolutely clobbered them today.

Congratulations to the other person who picked the Twins, tonight they officially clinched the Wild Card, but are only a game back on the Tigers. I think I smell another division title coming.

I can't wait for the playoffs, this is going to be a good year...

Thank ya, thank ya very much...

I didn't count on the ChiSox choking tho...

My Cardinals are on the verge of a collossal collapse... But considering their pitching has been horrible all year, they'd get bounced out in the first round regardless...

Mets vs. Twins/Yankees in the WS

and the twins are division champs. I think the royal's are now my second favorite team.

*Ahem*

You must have forgot the best and most important team in the League: The Oakland Athletics. Not exactly a wild-card, they've been favored to win for a long time. It's really not an issue: The A's are taking first place.

And how about them Tigers?:2razz:

It's a wild-cardy year, ain't it?
