Al-Qaida releases video of Afghan attack - Yahoo! News

CAIRO, Egypt - Al-Qaida posted a video on the Internet Friday showing what they claimed to be an insurgent attack on a military position of U.S. and Afghan forces in southern Afghanistan.

The video appears to be an attempt by the terrorist network to disparage U.S. claims that it is winning the war against the Taliban and allied militia in Afghanistan.

However, the video shows film shot in daylight of a single story compound of mud-plastered walls, where the Americans appear to have had a presence. "CPT ASHWOKTH UTAH. NG ETT," is scrawled on a wall, but there is little to suggest that foreign forces occupied the primitively built building for long.

Yeah...they're still there....I say we just use the next couple of months to warn villagers to move away from those areas and then when there are no people for about 1-200 miles. We nuke the living **** out of the mountanous regions of Afghanistan. It's simple an effective. We'd probably kill more AQ members that way.

Hmm I can see potential in your plan....... ;)

Sounds like a plan to me too. Except for this this part:

warn villagers to move away from those areas and then when there are no people for about 1-200 miles.

If we did that, AQ would find out about it and simply move out with the population.

Yep -- that's what I was going to say.

We don't need to nuke them we could just use MOAB.
