Tweaking the Fox News Channel, the president of liberal Air America Radio this morning sent a letter to the chairmen of four state Republican parties, offering to host and broadcast the state parties' upcoming presidential debates.

"Fox’s Mort Kondracke called the Nevada Democratic Party's rejection of Fox a “Stalinist” violation of “free speech and free debate.” So should you accept Air America's offer, Republicans would both embrace free debate and stick it to Stalin at the same time."

Before you all go and get your panties in a twist, this is a snide throw to conservatives that were complaining about democrats pulling out of FOX's democrat debates - it is a rebuttal of an issue, not an issue itself (now let's see how many people actually pay attention to that :doh )
I had to link to politico because Air America's website requires registration to view the invitation.

While honestly, I wouldn't care about a republican debate on air america, it is slightly different. No matter how much those on the left want to say "Fox is completely, wholey, and fully to the right, in every way, unbalance, biased, and works to screw liberals and isn't a legitimate news channel" it IS still a new channel that maintains neutrality. Air America, in no way shape or form, does.

If Rush Limbaugh or Michael Savage said "hey, democrats, you can come on my air ways and have a debate and i'll moderate it" i would be FULLY in favor of democrats laughing their asses off at them and not coming. They are completely and wholey partisan, and hold themselves as such.

I have no problem with democrats doing something on fox news as i would republicans doing it on msnbc

How can FOX claim to have neutrality when they have attacked the Democratic candidates, saying that Obama went to an islamic "madrassa", and that they got that information from Hillary Clinton when they didnt?

You really need to learn the difference between the "news" side of FOX and the "opinion" side.

No one has said that O'Reilley, et al, are "news" people. The "news" part of FOX IS fair and balanced NEWS. Shows like O'Reilley's that libs claim are proof that FOX's news is biased are NOT news shows...they are opinion shows, and no one claims otherwise.

It's like your newspaper...the front page should have "fair and balanced" news, and the editorial page has opinion. That neither proves or disproves that the paper is biased.

Yes, but when the "news" side of FOX is the one that perpetuates the madrassa BS, then your reasoning ceases to exist.
It's not O'Reilly that announced that Libby was not guilty (false). It wasn't Hannity and Colmes that announced Obama went to school in a madrassa (false). It was FOX news.
