I have decided to become an agnostic, particularly the agnostic spiritualism.

Agnostic spiritualism—the view that there may or may not be a God(s), while maintaining a general personal belief in a spiritual aspect of reality, particularly without distinct religious basis, or adherence to any established doctrine or dogma.

I think that best decribes how I feel.

If you've got room over there for Atheists, I'll unite with ya sista!

Everyone is welcome!

:2wave:

Sweet. We need more atheists/agnostics to come out of the closet. One chapter of Dawkins's new book covers how we're an understated minority, especially among elected officials, who feign religiousity for votes.

Isn't it funny though how people would rather believe and vote for a lying hypocrite religious zealous type than an atheist.

I'm sorry but we don't wear T-shirts here.

Thats hot :angel?:

Which is why I blame the people rather than the politicians who are only playing the game. When the people become outraged by protectionism, lobbyist control, and dishonesty, perhaps they'll change their tune. Until then, we get the politicians we deserve.

I'm in! I'll repent later.
Well, you know what they say...Never do today what you can put off for an eternity...or...something like that...
Welcome to the dark side, Apostle13:mrgreen:

I am no stranger to darkness...
It's just that darkness has become stranger to me.

You all don't wear T-shirts and you get spankings? Whatever cult this is I'm in.

I know. Hooray for the non-religious!

I expect this to change within the next few years as Dawkins and Harris get more into the mainstream and Haggard, Jesus Camp etc. shows what the fundies are all about.

Togas might make sense since spankings could commence more efficiently with such attire. Just my 2 cents.

I will join to. I have read enough about Christian history (including early christian - which the churches don't want their followers knowing about) to know what Christainity is the biggest con of mankind.

As one who was raised on Christian theology, I'd have to agree. Cheers mate.

Its only part of the biggest con. The biggest con is that faith (belief in what you have no evidence for) is intrinsically virtuous, and instrumental for achieving truth.

In his book, Dawkins also mentioned that he has a somewhat low view of agnostics in general because many don't consider the extremely low probability of a god in their calculations. That said, it's nice to see some people on my side. Atheists rock!
