Putin's demands are ridiculous and they will be unacceptable to Zelensky. They should also be unacceptable to Ukraine's western allies.

What I remember is Mitch McConnell saying early on that Ukraine could defeat Russia.

At the time I thought he was bonkers but as the war has dragged on the world has seen that Russia is indeed somewhat of a paper tiger.

Unfortunately the world's resolve has been disrupted by America's support for Putin. I hope that Canada and Europe stay focused on helping Ukraine.
 
Trump looks like a fool and he looks weak in the face of Putin's actions. He actually thinks Putin wants to do a deal for him....how bloody stupid can he be? He acts the bully and uses his Presidential powers to coerce and extort to get what he wants from those who must comply or face retribution but for some reason he won't uses those powers on Putin. I'm not in the camp of those who thinks Putin has something on him but he does seem to hold a weird power over Trump which I think is somehow tied up in Trump's own ego. He thinks he is the only guy who can make a deal with Putin because he thinks he has a relationship with him. I also think he truly admires the thug and murderer. He certainly tries to emulate him at home. What a sick attitude for the President of the United States of America.

Putin is playing a game with Trump.
He mentions peace, suggests that Trump might get a Nobel Prize, and watches Trump gets a little stiffy.
Putin then goes home and kills innocent Ukrainians and he and his cabinet rewatch Trump getting a stiffy and laugh over and over and over.
Then Putin goes "Watch, I'll do the exact same thing in a few months."
 
They should be unacceptable to the US, but not since we have a loyal Putin sucker in the white house, who wants to be just like him when he grows up......which obviously will be never.
