Really? Which ones?
Things like job training programs, educational grants, Help with utility bills programs, unemployment insurance, SS, medicare, medicaid, school lunch programs, etc.
Head Start is a good program too. Of course, that just ends up meaning that the GOP is trying to kill it.

That's just a goofy opinion piece.
That's your opinion.
Why not quote what Republicans actually say regarding their programs rather than going through a third party? Can't you just get the facts and allow your own opinions to evolve from them?
That wasn't really the point of that post. The point was simply to show how the GOP takes a crap on anything even remotely good.
Yes, some of these programs can be good but most will be unsustainable because of other unnecessary programs that's chewing up the dollars. The US is, as you must know, almost $17 trillion in debt, and climbing, and this cannot continue. But it will until it hits the wall.
There is also no second generation in numbers sufficient enough (think 55 million abortions) to pay all the bills that will be required for the aging boomers, so those programs you care about will have to be cut or abandoned.
No matter what political philosophy you might envision or adhere to, sooner or later realitywill kick in.
Think of it as talking to the hand.It seems like you have a decision to make here. Either you post your own opinions here and we debate them or you have a third party do them for you. As it is impossible for posters here to debate third parties, so you might want to give that some thought.
Money is only theory now days. There is no longer a gold standard, so to speak.
try telling that to the grocery store owner.
Inflation will cure our deficit.
Inflation will also create extreme hardships on those who retire on fixed incomes or who try to do business in the real world. It seems you are unclear on what a serious thing inflation is.
When government building were first built in Washington dc the total cost was less than a million dollars. Now that much is spent on a restroom in a government building.
I have no idea. tell me.
Since it is theoreticaly impossibe to run out of numbers we have nothing to worry about.
I see you have graduated from the Liberal School of Economics. Well said.
In my lifetime I remember a one penny piece of fudge candy that cost one dollar and fifty cents today.
that's gradual inflation, though the Carter years gave it a jolt, but you don't seem prepared for the sudden, and seemingly inevitable inflation that is due.
What me worry. Let the printing presses roll.
That seem to be the mood in America today. The first generation in US history to embrace their own ruin.
