Ok so it is nothing to do with politics, or is it?
We as humans and being basically the dominant species on the planet do have a duty and responsibility for the welfare of other species sharing our world.
Dont be shy, nobody will think you a wimp if you comment on this story.

I love animals.....glad to see I am not the only person that cares about and for abused animals.......I have three dogs (all saved from animal control)
 
COLD DIRT
I have two rescued pooches, one was returned to the rescue place after her owner found he was unable to care for her.
The other one was rescued from a cage 3 deep in an outhouse along with 44 other similarly individually caged pooches. This second one was terrified of males, it has taken some 2 years of tenderness for him to come round, he is a delightful animal.
 
Kelzie, thanks for that story, had not seem it before.
