Afghan officials: Taliban hit army, police center in east​

KABUL: Afghan officials say the Taliban have launched a coordinated assault on a military base that also serves as a police training center in eastern Maidan Warcak province and that there are casualties.

COMMENT:-

Dealing with the Times of India is always frustrating because they constantly refresh/edit their web pages. According to other accounts the casualty figure exceeds 100 (no break down between dead and wounded). I'm not sure what "mission" was "accomplished" in Afghanistan, but "eliminating the Taliban" doesn't appear to have been it.

It doesn't help when you have Pakistan letting those murderers cross into their country to hide before they go back to Afghanistan to continue their terrorism.

You have to remember that Pakistan is a "Good Guy" because Pakistan is one of "America's Partners in the War on Terror".
