Actually , Even California Says Trump is Right About the Wildfires

Maybe playing the fool, like Trump, is how you "punk" people in the USA, but in the rest of the world it's just plain playing the fool.

Trump is miles off base, and has not started a meaningful conversation. Instead he has, as always, divided the country a little bit more.
Well, sure you folks are Americans, too.

So, specifically, I guess he punks lefties. Yeah, lefties worldwide. I personally love it. He did not start this awakening. To the game being played by Western power hungry elites desiring that the rest of us be in the commons, in the urban commune collectives... propertyless, slaves to the each other under those avant-guarding us from ourselves...

Certainly no longer meant to be appreciated as individuals but forced into someone else's regimented groupthink idea of utopia.

Neah.

Let me ask you a simple question identifying if you really want a conversation on, say immigration. And by that I mean regarding illegal immigration as both sides are pretty simpatico on that legal immigration stuff.

If your side actually cared, why didn't your folks accept the triple slendermans offer on DACA with 1.8 Million Dreamers...?

Based on principle, I wasn't for giving ANY DACA leeway. But Trump educated us all, it was a realistic offer of exchange... if you folks were really for a bonafide effort at fairness.

You weren't.

Our side offered to give, your side backed quickly away from the deal with the MSM giving you covering fire to mask such disgusting retreat.

**Knock **knock, we were way divided way before Trump came into the picture. Trump is merely an apparatus to accelerate the process, speed you folks into showing true colors.

Solid blue. No red nor, certainly, any white required thereabouts.

Finally we see your paint. War paint.

Leave a bunch of undergrowth and dead trees around and you will have these types of fires. Anyone should be able to figure this out but, apparently, liberals cannot.

Twenty-six 500 year storms in the past decade, massive flooding and destruction on the east coast, drought and faster moving wildfire on a seven year trend line out west and in the mid-west. Anybody should be able to figure out that Climate Change has reached right into our lives as opposed to being something we can kick down the road. That is except for the Donald and his minions.

Well, it requires actually GOING OUTSIDE , into a forest every now and then,, to grasp the concept.

Leftworld is only viewed through a screen, or in mobs in the city.

Yea all those environmental groups and the green party are Right wingers. The Left would not know a tree if it smacked them right in the head. Ah-huh.

Gee...missed the Fake news coverage of THIS...

Actually , Even California Says Trump is Right About the Wildfires

President Trump’s critics are belittling him for not buying the lefty narrative that global warming is to blame for the California wildfires. Instead, Trump points to decades of mistakes by government agencies that caused the woodlands to become overly dense and blanketed with highly flammable dead wood and underbrush.

He’s exactly right.

Just ask California officials. Two months ago, the state legislature enacted a measure that would expedite the removal of dead trees and use “prescribed burns” to thin forests. In other words: the very same reforms that Trump is now being mocked for proposing. The September law followed a Gov. Jerry Brown executive order earlier this year that also called for “controlled fires” to improve forest health.

his scientific approach isn’t easily conveyed in Trump’s preferred mode of communication, the 280-character tweet. But University of California forest expert Yana Valachovic conceded in a Washington Post interview that Trump’s “general sentiment is correct — that we need to manage fuels.” That is, to get rid of dangerous buildups of dead and dying trees.

For a century, forest mismanagement has resulted in huge blazes. And while global warming is the favorite culprit among the PC crowd, history shows that California suffered far bigger fires decades ago. The death toll from the current northern California fire, known as Camp Fire, set the gruesome all-time state record for a single blaze, killing at least 79 so far, with hundreds still missing.

Of course we should believe the Rupert Murdoch owned NY POST.

Just like I believe the Murdoch owned Herald Sun in Australia. I am a dual citizen currently living in Australia and the Murdoch rags are promoting the far right conservative party in Victoria's state elections this weekend.

What a frigging surprise.

We have massive flooding and destruction because we have 300 million people pushed right up to the waterline everywhere. Of course there will be more flooding, etc. yet the 1900 Galveston hurricane was as big or bigger than anything we've seen recently. In fact, hurricane frequency and intensity has been on a decades long decline. Of course, the chicken little climate change alarmists will never admit that fact. We've always had hurricanes, droughts and fires. We simply have a whole lot more people now, 24/7 news coverage and a bunch of people who want to use natural disasters as a political tool.

New Science Says Hurricane Frequencies Are Declining, Yet U.S. Media Blame ?Climate Deniers? For Florence

I live in forested land in Kalifornia. It isn't dead trees that causes these problems, it's the thick undergrowth. Left-winger environmentalist dip****s bitch and file lawsuits whenever anyone attempts to clear the forest of debris. Some species of conifer need to burn in order to flourish and spread. However when undergrowth is too thick, the fires burn intensely and kill the trees. See the problem here? The leftists need to shut up and sit down.

I have read the same thing for the last 40 years. The normal forest fires in the area removing the ground cover every few years is what prevents the destructive fires we are seeing today When the ground cover gets too thick the natural fires destroy the trees and rage out of control. The bark on a lot of the conifers is fire resistant which proves this is natural selection. These fires have been a normal part of California history for thousands of years if not millions of years. The reason for the intensity of these fires is without question our not letting nature take its course. Because of people building their homes in harms way we have suppressed the natural forest fires that have been keeping the ground cover at a minimal preventing these fires from becoming the destructive force they have become. Once again we reap what we sow. This process will continue until we learn from our mistakes.

The problem with this reporter and her sourced material is that she incorrectly believes that the Paradise fire [as well as so many other fires in California] was in California State Forests. It is not. The city of Paradise California is a municipality with private property.

The State of California has no authority to clear private property of dead trees.

In fact, Paridise Ca is surrounded to the NE by the Plumas National Forrest. So it ought to be Trump out there raking the floors.

Needed to be done long before Trump took office.

Two corrections to what? Donald Trump's ridiculous thinking that sweeping the Forrest floor prevents Forrest fires?

Secondly if Trump is unhappy with Ca management of Federal forests...then why has he not taken the task back Ca and had the federal government taken charge?

Why? Because all Trump is good for is blaming and pointing fingers.

Majority of California's forests managed by feds; scientist says mismanagement isn't to blame

Is Donald Trump going to do any work? Is he going to fix one problem in the US?
You SERIOUSLY think Trump thought sweeping the forest floor was the answer? Commonsense not very common in Texas, eh? It was pretty clear he was talking clearing out the underbrush and deadwood.
