Beware of a wolf in sheep's clothing.

So the ACLU is defending the religious freedom of Christians as a cover for their nefarious plot to...what is their nefarious plot again?

Sounds like you got a nice little conspiracy theory brewing there. Good luck with that.

Hey, if it doesn't fit with the ideology that has been shoved down my throat by FNC and talk radio when it must be some liberal trick or conspiracy at work.

ACLU is the panty waste of american lawyers. They defend groups like NAMBLA yet will not lift a finger to protect individuals who have their 2nd amendment constituiton rights trampled on. They are worthless IMO.

1. By 2nd Amendment rights you mean the right of the people to have a well-regulated militia, right? Can you give me an example of this alleged trampling of the 2nd Amendment? (BTW, Iraqis were armed to the teeth and that didn't stop tyrany.)
2. You and the rest of your Republican cohorts obviously believe the ACLU is up to something fishy. What is it, and why?
3. Here's what the ACLU says about defending the free speech of unpopular organizations:

"In the United States Supreme Court over the past few years, the American Civil Liberties Union has taken the side of a fundamentalist Christian church, a Santerian church, and the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. In celebrated cases, the ACLU has stood up for everyone from Oliver North to the National Socialist Party. In spite of all that, the ACLU has never advocated Christianity, ritual animal sacrifice, trading arms for hostages or genocide. In representing NAMBLA today, our Massachusetts affiliate does not advocate sexual relationships between adults and children."

Dude, if you don't like the ACLU, you don't like free speech.
