Not really, I have books and writings and manuscripts and tomes that have told the same story the same way for thousands of years, and the funny part is that NOT ONCE have you ever asked me what I think, what you usually do is tell me what I think and you have no idea about what I think about God.

Did you expect the story to change over time? But one thing that has changed dramatically over time is how people behave in regard to their views and reactions to those immutable stories.
