After listening to the evil that Pat Robertson has been spewing for the last few months I am beginning to think we need a three strike law for TV. He has expressed more than once completely anti.Christian views and tried to wrap them in the flag with the bible on top. The man is more like the Anti-Christ than a man of God. Here, briefly, are his three strikes in my opinion.

1, Condemning the entire population of Dover PA. to the 5 level of Hell for all eternity. like he can do that. The entire thing is beyond stupid. A charlatan and a mountbank like this freak condemning anyone? Ludicrous? You bet you sweet @ss.

2. Advocating the assennation of a promenant political leader of another country. Don't you go to jail for threatening someone else's life? You bet you sweet ss you do.

3. Wishing ill of a political leader after he has suffered a debilitating injury. What a pig!

This is a man of God? What next? Attila the Hun for sainthood?

His followers operate in a world of fundamentalist faith. Common sense and logic don't enter into it. They will fall for the, "I have sinned! I repent! Send me your social security check for God's battle against Satan!", every time!

That's why the progress of the world moves ahead so painfully slow. Common sense, logic and science are the tools of the devil! Don't think, have faith brother! Look at the current politics in the U.S.! :2wave:

Pat Robertson has also said

-Homosexuals are Nazis, to put in basic form.
-Feminists are socialists and anti-capitalists who believe in absolutely no family.
-The State dept. should be nuked, I don't know if he said it or not, but I would believe he said it, it fits his profile.

:applaud Excellent posts, both of you.

Pat Robertson doesn't even strike me as following Christianity, nor most "Christains" for that matter.

Pat Robertson would be ineffectual as a public speaker if he didn't adhere to the staples of Christian motivation:

  • Guilt
  • Sin
  • Blame

As much as I think that Pat Robertson is a terrible person who deserves to be beaten mercilessly, I also don't think we have any right to censor him just because we don't like what he says. I hate the KKK, but I certainly support their right to free speech and to assemble peacably.

Unfortunately, I would tend to agree.
