In August 2000, Cheney made a speech at the GOP convention. Here are some interesting choices of words he used:

In this election, the[ Democrats] will speak endlessly of risk. We will speak of progress. They will make accusations. We will make proposals. They will feed fear. [YOU WILL FEED FEAR] We will appeal to hope. [Yeah right. And telling us that weapons of mass destruction could come in the form of a mushroom cloud--that's hope?] They will offer more lectures, and legalisms, and carefully worded denials. We offer another way, a better way, and a stiff dose of truth.

Text Of Dick Cheney's Speech - CBS News

Oh really, Vice President Cheney? The truth?

Today, Nicholas Kristof has an article in the New York Times entitled, "Mr. Cheney, Tear Down This Wall." He lists a bunch of questions regarding the Scooter Libby trial that he wants Cheney to answer since Cheney promised to provide us with a "dose of truth."

What a bunch of horse$hit that Cheney dished out in August 2000. I am loving watching your integrity crumble, Mr. Vice President.

Finally. A New York Times Op-Ed that disagrees with this administration.

Ya gotta have it before it can crumble.

...do I hear a troll in here?...

I know how you wish it were trolling, but criticizing the Op-Ed is completely valid. Presenting a NYT editorial doesn't make anything true, it only supports aps belief. Shall I present a Newsmax editorial to rebuff? It would be pointless.
Besides, aps is a big girl. She doesn't need your help.

Did you criticize the Op-Ed, debate its points or something, and I missed it? I thought you criticized aps for presenting it. That's what I saw.

You certainly could use a Newsmax article for your rebuttal, adding your own thoughts, and presenting additional supporting links. I think that would be great.

I would love to read some substantive points by Current Affairs....at least one time in my life. ;)

The only thing you ever find substantive is if it agrees lock step with you. Sorry, aps.

How does the Plame issue in anyway reflect on Cheney's integrity?

His office the administration in general did exactly as they should have and exposed Mr. Wilson for what he was, a liar.

It's Mr. Wilson and the NYT and MSNBC and NBC et al who suffer in that department.
