The poster isn't childish. Read the dictionary definitions. The first one in at least two of the entries says birth control limits birth and then adds, "especially . . . ." The latter phrase is not synonymous with "only . . . ."

So whether or not you or anyone else likes it, abortion is one form of birth control.

If you don't approve of abortion but do approve of contraception, then use the term "contraception" instead of "birth control" and get over it.
