A question for Catholics

"YOU" was implied, in case YOU didn't read too carefully.

YOU would have to dump YOUr silly rule and read my comment. I'm not going to rewrite it because YOU have a ridiculous phobia.

How do Catholics justify calling gays an abomination, when they still support a cult who's leaders are known homosexual pedophiles and have tortured and murdered folks with impunity for centuries..
I don't know, ask Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi.

Now, that is a good question related to the thread topic. Is the comment implying that Pelosi and Biden are religious hypocrites but other members of the Catholic church and other religions are not? What makes a person a religious hypocrite?

I agree, Nancy Pelosi is a pro abortionist.
Nancy is a public servant who swore to uphold the constitution which requires a separation of church and state.

She should probably not talk about scripture or God or Jesus, then, with her public servant hat on, right?

If you wanna take yourself to the fainting couch over minor sins by Nancy go for it

Personally, I think it is okay if a public servant talks about their religious beliefs as long as they don't do it in a way that forces their beliefs on others or excludes others based on their beliefs.

It's the whole free speech thing. A person can say what they want but they aren't free from criticism or consequences about it.

I was not aware that Catholics don't use the bible. Do you have a supporting citation?
They use the bible, just not exclusively the way mos protestants do. Most protestants adhere to 'sola scriptura' as their only source for their theology. That if it does not exist in the approved cannon of scripture, that it cannot be accepted as "infaliable" as the Catholics often call their man made traditions/rules from the papacy. Catholics claim that many of their beliefs and traditions existed before the bible was written, owing to a belief that the apostle Peter was their first "pope".

It is the traditions and other man made rules which eventually caused protestants to "protest" and break away, and then stand on sola scriptura.

So, they use the bible, they believe the bible...AND they believe and follow their own long standing rules and traditions which are not in the bible--- and for protestants often conflict with what protestants understand and believe from the bible texts.

Ooh, that's a good one (if you are trying to be another fake christian). Where does the bible say that abortion is counter to god's will?
"In other words, the Bible was written in a world in which abortion was practiced and viewed with nuance. Yet the Hebrew and Greek equivalents of the word β€œabortion” do not appear in either the Old or New Testament of the Bible. That is, the topic simply is not directly mentioned."

The Catholic Church teaches that homosexual acts are always violations of divine and natural law.
This fact is not up for debate

As does the Torah

Care to explain your railing against Catholics and not against Jews?

One difference is that national Jewish politicians don’t pander to the conservative factions of their religion.

If you wanna take yourself to the fainting couch over minor sins by Nancy go for it

I'm not at all concerned about it. You seem to be, though.

What exactly am I concerned about?

Separation of church of state..... well, sometimes you're concerned about it. Not so much when it's someone from your side.

There is only one side and it's spelled out in the Establishment clause. Religious nutters have no respect for it

Oh... So your voicing a whataboutism.... Well of course you are. I listed "Catholics" because its the predominant local religion. And because of the mountains of evidence to support my contentions. That's it. There's no evil plot to single out Catholics.

I did not say that you claimed this; I said that you wanted to make church pedophiliac abuse a Catholic thing when it is not.
So you believe I'm unfairly singling out Catholics? The reason that happened is the ready availability of mountains of evidence proving my point against the Catholics. I do concede that the pedophilia problems may be prevalent in many different religious groups.

Leading question.

1st Amendment in part - "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech..."

Irreligious, left-wing loons have no respect for the bolded portion.

So you are convinced that your religion gives you the right to designate groups of people you don't like to second class citizen status? Because that what it boils down to.

Btw, that's a yes or no question

Nope, that your manufactured hysterics.
