The truth is that Napoleon’s invasion of Russia broke his army’s back and he never really recovered from his disastrous defeat.....and three years later Russian troops were marching through Paris.

Blaming Russia for the French invasion is particularly silly when one considers the fact that A) Napoleon was never going to let any nation with the capability to challenge French dominance of Europe go unchecked, which is why he dismantled Prussia and Austria, which leads into......B) Napoleon’s effort to destroy the British threat to French dominance was the Continental System, since an invasion of Britain was out of the cards, but Russia had no obligation to obey Napoleon’s dictates(and many other countries likewise were angered by French heavy handedness). After all, Napoleon had likewise invaded Portugal for refusing to abide by the Continental System.

Being a big Conquistador makes one responsible for so much rape, which means, eventually you will get molested and turn out gay, and as a reaction, Eisenhower signed a law keeping gays out of federal service.

I read a funny story out of a old history book,
After Moscow burned and Napoleon started retreating, The Czar ordered his general to
attack the Grand Army without delay. It was overheard that as the General exited the Czar's tent,
he told his aid, that he would let General winter fight the next battle for him!

you hate Napoleon cos he liberated all Muscovite slaves , you like Muscovites stay in their natural condition (natural slaves )

Announcements in the Moskovskie Vedomosti newspaper: “Courtyard people are sold for excess: a shoemaker, 22 years old, his wife is a laundress. The price of this is 500 rubles. Another river-boy is 20 years old with his wife, and his wife is a good washerwoman, she also sews linen well. And the price of this is 400 rubles. They can be seen on Ostozhenka, under N 309… Six gray young horses of light breeds are for sale, well ridden in collars, for which the last price is 1200 rubles. You can see them on Malaya Nikitskaya in the parish of Old Ascension…”.

Wrong as usual. Napoleon didn’t care about “liberating slaves”; he literally sent an expedition to Haiti to force the slaves his predecessors had liberated back into bondage, which led to a genocidally ferocious war to the knife…..which the French lost.

Not to mention, of course, that slavery was long gone in Russia at that point. Serfdom still existed, but that is an entirely different thing, as has already been established.

Furthermore, given that both America and England still allowed slavery(and in the case of the US, actively promoted it) in both 1800 and 1812 your sputtering is amusing. Several hundred thousand Americans died fighting to defend slavery.
