A new republican platform

I want to thank all the wonderful liberals that decided to come in this thread, not read a damn thing of my original post (at least in Iriemon's case, as none of his posts indicate he actually gave a damn to read it and instead just saw the headers, saw conservative, so figured may as well stereotype), and just attack reverend so much. Much appreciated.

I like what you said and agree with you a whole hell of alot, if that helps.

Thanks :)

And don't mind people disagreeing with me. But Iriemon's annoys me. He makes a sarcastic comment, I explain differences. He then proceeds to stereotype every one of my statements, pointedly either not reading it or ignoring specifics in there, into the most typical liberal explanation of conservative ideals. That's his attempt to "Debate", which is really "Um, its conservatism. What's changed". This is like me looking at Obama and going "Well obviously is socialism" becuase he has a number of social programs. Its ignorant and shows no desire to debate, only to stereotype and try to steer the debate into something no one's blabbering on about but himself.

I'd encourage conservatives that disagree with my views to say so. The one asking about abortion was a welcomed question. I'd welcome moderate liberals coming in to say their thoughts on some of the specifics within the statements that they like or not. But hyper-partisan liberals coming in to make sarcastic ass comments, show they obvious read nothing or have no desire to actually respond to anything besides their own hyper-partisan stereotypes, is not in any way needed or welcomed in the thread.

Like I said in my first post, be careful that your attempts to come across as smart-azz don’t come across as dumb-azz. Opps, too late.

No I read it, and your "new" platform didn't sound much different that McCains. Which is why I wrote the post. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

I've asked you to explain what is really "new" about your platform, and how your platform is fundamentally different, but only got whining and babbling about what an ignorant, token partisan liberal I am.

Would you like a tissue?

I've offered you the opportunity to explain what is really "new" and how your platform is fundamentally different, but only got whining and babbling about how liberal I am.

as soon as anyone tried to explain differences to you you tried yo pigeonhole them to your purposeful narrow view.

you fool no one.

Show me where I said that my platform was fundamentally different Iriemon? Its conservatism. The Republican platform is in general based in conservatism. As I've already told you, I'm not trying to make black white, up down, or sound silence. I'm not about to turn conservatism into liberalism.

I already explained a few differences from McCain's views and mine; you immedietely dismissed it because it and just proceeded to try to tell me that "No, what you say you mean isn't what you mean, what you mean is this bland hyper-partisan stereotyping of conservatism that makes it evident I have no honest desire to actually discuss this".

Why am I going to take the time to once again point out the differences or in more detail when the first time I did it you just ignored to continue on your same idiotic mantra of "GRRR! You're conservatism looks like conservatism when I boil it down to one sentence generalizatiosn! GRRR!"
