Five days ago, on Sunday, July 19th, President of the United States of America Donald Trump made a statement concerning US health care. Here it is:

"We're signing a health care plan within two weeks, a full and complete health care plan that the Supreme Court decision on DACA gave me the right to do."

What makes this interesting to me is not only that I've but 9 days to wait to see the plan, but that there's been little or nothing in the media, main stream or otherwise, on the congressional work that would have to be taking place for the plan to be in the form of congressional legislation.

Is a puzzlement.

9 days to go.

It's just another example of Trump proving he knows nothing about government, or he's lying his ass off. I wan't to know how DACA has anything to do with Health care.

Oh I didn't miss it. It was reported - by the real news sources (not Fox News or Breitbart).

I can't wait to watch his excuse for this one. And he doesn't seem to know that he can't put in a national healthcare plan by Executive Order.

Dumbest man on the planet.

Additional information.

The words 'full and complete' indicate that this is far more than the long-awaited Republican replacement plan for the ACA. Perhaps we can get something of a glimpse into President Trump's intention from an earlier statement;

“If you can’t take care of your sick in the country, forget it, it’s all over. I mean, it’s no good. So I’m very liberal when it comes to health care. I believe in universal health care. I believe in whatever it takes to make people well and better.” [Bold face mine]

9 days and counting ...

Perhaps Mr. Rush Limbaugh, Mr. Sean Hannity or Mr. Mark Levin will enlighten us on one of their shows.

A list of the things promised by Trump "in a couple of weeks", over the last 4 years...would take a week to compile.

This is just what he says when he feels trapped.

Expect nothing, as usual.

There is no way that the GOPers in congress are going to present a comprehensive health care proposal 3 months before a national election...especially after promising (and delivering) NOTHING for the last 10 years (and counting).

The 'net site PolitiFact(r) has a compilation of President of the United States of America Donald Trump's statements concerning his intentions and how they have turned out.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

It's simple. There will be no health plan from Trump. It is just another lie from him, and the media ignored it. The media is tired of his lies.

You are gullible.

It took President Trump 827 days to top 10,000 false and misleading claims in The Fact Checker’s database, an average of 12 claims a day.

But on July 9, just 440 days later, the president crossed the 20,000 mark — an average of 23 lies a day over a 14-month period, which included the events leading up to Trump’s impeachment trial, the worldwide pandemic that crashed the economy and the eruption of protests over the death of George Floyd in police custody.

Hi!

Thank you for taking time to respond.

My post was a feeble attempt to, in the minds of those reading it, indicate the reliability of the pronouncements of President of the United States of America Donald Trump. He's the one who said, "And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that's a pretty good job we've done."

I stopped doing gullible at about age 26. That was some 60 years ago.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

i think most people just tune out his promises. we know he's a massive liar.

The media forgot about it because

1)They know he’s full of ****, and
2)He immediately eclipsed that news by punching a black baby on live television or something.

I'll bet step one is giving himself more tax money. Step two is giving his rich buddies more money. Step three is **** you.

Wow!

Just take a moment to let that sink in..

This president has pushed Americans so far beyond saying "Never before in our history...", that it's hard to even be shocked anymore.

From Obama to Trump has been like going from a RangeRover to walking the landscape barefoot...while drooling.

Which ever one it is just proves he is totally incompetent.

Saturday, 7/25/2020. Update.

There are at most 8 days to wait before President of the United States of America Donald Trump signs a full and complete health care plan. We have his word on this. The actual statement is quoted in post # 1 of this thread.

I welcome all Americans -- liberals, conservatives, Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, etc., -- to get the word out on this tremendous up-coming event. It will totally overshadow the signing of the ACA by ex-President Barack Obama which, as you know, only covered a small percent of Americans.

Mr. Rush Limbaugh, Mr. Sean Hannity and Mr. Mark Levin take note. History is about to be made.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

But can you imagine, what if he pulled Medicare for all out of his ass? About the ONE way he could un-tank his numbers....

He won't, but still....

Hi!

President Donald Trump has said that he will do this. We're talking about the President of the United States of America here, not some cartoonish Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin nonsense. The President of the United States of America, for goodness sake!

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

Trumps "plan" was revealed back in 2014.

Its the only way to make America great again.

And everything seems to be going according to plan.

I can't wait to watch his excuse for this one.

He won't need, nor offer, any excuse. By the time the day rolls around, he'll have already dumped a dozen other steaming loads of fertilizer on the public via tweets and press ops, so this will fade into the record like so many others of his unsupportable claims. It's among his pre-election day MO's.

Do you remember when, just before the midterms, he publicly proclaimed that Congress was, as he spoke, busy working night and day on another ground breaking tax cut ??!!?? In fact, they were not even in session at the time, all having gone home to their states for recess. But what did his mindless minions say when that was exposed? (crickets)

When trump tells us he's working on big, huge, wonderful things that we'll see in a couple of weeks. You can mark it down as bullcrap.

Excuse? There will be none because it will never be spoken about again. It's just something he said, means nothing. Whenever he says in a couple or few weeks you can immediately tell it's bullcrap.

I think he's proven that those possibilities are NOT either/or.

You aren't the only one that caught his claims, and it has been lightly covered here, so thanks for making a thread on it.
The news should hold him to his claims, and ask about them every time to or his blond talking head takes the stage.

Where are all our local trumplings?

The bolded would likely be more reliable and trustworthy than the current POTUS....
