I goes without saying that I don't respect to many Liberals...............

One Liberal I have respect for though is the actor Paul Newman......This guy not only talks the talk but he walks the walk.....

He is a Liberal who takes his marriage vows seriously (married to Joanne Woodword for over 50 years)....

He puts his money where his mouth is...........He has many businesses Including Paul Newmans Spaghetti Sauce where all the profits he makes are donated to charity..........

He is also a wonderful actor...........I take my hat off to him........

I don't know about regular every day people...I just know about your liberal leaders in the congress who love to spend money on failed programs as long as the money is not theirs but the taxpayers...Paul Newman who is a Liberal put his money where his mouth is........I respect that.....

The 'liberal' label is a generalisation. All issues can be broken down into yet smaller issues with their own causes & possible solutions. People are individuals too. They are not clomnes. It's naive to say a person complies with the definition of liberal on all things in all way. Besides isn't the USA founded on liberty ?

Someone that thinks the invasion of Iraq is a disaster ?
In that case Liberal = sane.

Of the five most likely Democratic candidates for president (Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Al Gore, John Edwards, Bill Richardson), NONE of them have been divorced.

So what were you saying about taking marriage vows seriously?
