nobody likes that ****... but it happens literally every day around here.... usually it's liberals talking about libertarians, though.

liberals are not happy to be accused of suffering from a mental illness but it is what conservatives honestly think given how intellectually absurd and mistaken liberalism seemingly is. There are many ways to prove it. Just ask a conservative to defend conservatism and then ask a liberal to defend liberalism. Liberals run away while libertarians run toward the question.

don't be silly. Liberals created welfare in the 1960's that went to women thus paying them to kick men out to get more money for destroying their family. You didn't know that?

Not happy, but did not think I would become so "popular" for making the statement. I don't believe I would take it personally if the tables were turned, and would certainly not respond in a hostile and uncivil manner as a few people did. I personally wouldn't go so far as to say it is a mental illness but I don't think liberalism is the better ideology for our country. Again, I've got friends and family that are liberals - I love them but I seem to relate better to conservative thinkers.

I could claim that conservatism is a form of dementia where slow brains have their fight or flight response go haywire and seek to regress society backwards through history to address erroneous hysteria.

Of course, i have plenty of other possible explanations for conservatism because i have a healthy imagination.

He doesn't know what the words mean. I once asked him to name three countries in the world with conservative governments and he couldn't come up with one.

Unfortunately the best liberal Democrat I've ever known and one I truly loved (my Mother) is no longer around. She was one of the most compassionate and smart people I've ever known. No one disliked her and I respected her reasoning ability. I have never met another liberal like her and I cannot relate to most of the ones I know and meet. If she were alive today, I don't think she could either.

so you say liberals are not mentally ill, they just don't reason well but you have no example of poor liberal reasoning even though there are millions of liberals around?

I can think of a few examples off the top of my head. Please keep in mine this is just my opinion and I know Libs have equally strong opposing views.

Dealing with terrorist nations from a position of weakness
Seemingly not understanding that criminals won't adhere to stricter gun control laws while law abiding citizens will
Believing the government will take care of everything for it's citizens if you just give them more power, money, and control
Supporting behavior of groups like BLM
"Political correctness" and so on........
