A few days after Litvinenko's burial ceremony in Highgate cemetery... (1 Viewer)

A few days after Litvinenko's burial ceremony in Highgate cemetery attendees of the funeral are said to have been in great danger.

As ex-spy Litvinenko was buried last week in London, one could not but notice the unprecedented security measures that followed the whole ceremony. First of all, the funeral was initially planned for Friday, the day when Moslems traditionally go to Mosque for joint prayer requests; but at the very last moment British authorities advanced it for Thursday, December 7. When the mourners gathered at the mosque to hear readings and prayers in Litvinenko's honour, they found the building encircled with the police cordon and a metal detector at the entrance. Besides Mr Litvinenko's body was not brought to the Mosque, but was taken to a secret site, accompanied by security guards.

When the air-tight and radiation-proof coffin was brought to Highgate cemetery, the police once again encircled the place and a police helicopter was patrolling the air.

All these details prove that a terrorist threat was extremely high and the burial ceremony of Litvinenko could have been a very convenient event for Islamic terrorists to commit an attack with extremely high death toll. I think they had a reason to do this because Litvinenko had not converted to Islam despite all affirmations and from the perspective of Muslim extremists, he did not deserve a Muslim funeral. Howbeit scallywags of Berezovsky and Zakaev who still try to politicize the poisoning of Litvinenko insist on a Muslim funeral. Though in spite of this, both Zakaev and Berezovsky denied the fact that Litvinenko was a Muslim in a private talk after the funeral ceremony was over. The same did Litvinenko's wife. She said she was not sure whether her husband had converted to Islam.

I don't see room for doubts since his dad confirmed his conversion.

Gunte, are you a real person or are you a piece of software to register and post messages every now and then?

Wait, if you are a piece of software, you don't have to answer

You are a piece of software, this is what I thought.
