A Discussion With An Actual Socialist

What do corporate taxes have to do with where them employ people?
The number of people employed is related directly to the amount of products sold vs the efficiency of making said product.

Back in 2014, when Ireland corporate taxes were low:

Then, when Ireland revises their tax code in 2018 which increases corporate taxes

they leave again. To where?

Nov 11, 2016 — Large numbers of US companies will leave Ireland and relocate to the US to take advantage of a new corporate tax regime which the new ...

Seems like it'd be better for the US to keep those corporations, and their workforces - even if it is white collar office work, here. Economic activity is economic activity which would help the US economy.

Again, you are in denial about what people will put up with, and a 90% tax rate isn't one of them.

The "people" you are defending in your statement are earning millions upon millions a year. There is no way they can spend the money and therefore they certainly don't need it.

All it does is make them "look good" when the numbers become public. Like kids yelling, "Look at me and what I did, mommy!"

Some people never grow up. And most of them are family-made millionaires. Bill Gates is not one of them, but I'll bet his kids will be just that kind ...

No they aren't.

Thanks for your opinion. Have a nice day.

89.993% then?

The overwhelming majority of people posting on this board are socialists', Communists.

I will acknowledge that USMB leans right - and the fact is that DP is far left. Bumping heads with the Marxists is why I come here.

Not so sure about the others, but I rather doubt that an investor such as Warren even has much of a workforce.

Most socialists are idiots,.
Chuckle.

Did you get a Trump stimulus check?

Did you know the US economy is a mixed economy of capitalism and socialism?

Apple did.

Plenty in USA.
They have operations world wide. Most multinationals do.

The fact is DP lost a good number of conservatives because they were utterly embarrassed of the clown show that was the Trump Presidency.

You clearly know nothing about communists, socialists, or the Democratic Party.

Here's a good debate on socialism versus capitalism. The debate goes to ~49:00, where the audience questions start.

Note: I'm not advocating for either capitalism or socialism.

ROFL

Okay then.

I've seen none of the half-dozen or so conservatives on this board leave.

Here is what I know about Communism.
